    I am by no means saying any of you are elss fans than others because that is just plain stupid seeing that you all had to come seek this site out and write on it. And anyone searching for a brewer message board site has to be a fan. but why not hope for the wild card? While we still have a chance and are in the hunt....why not? I mean when is the last time we had the opportunity to even think about it come August? If it doesnt happen it doesn't happen. Once they are way out of it then we can all gun for 500. Who cares? Why say we have no chance....we're 5.5 back..of coarse we have a chance. Things can happen. Lyle, geoff, lee, clark could all go hotter than hot and we could pull off 10 in a row. Or we could just as easily lose 10 in a row. We have a chance. We are BREWER fans and we have a chance of a WC on August 2nd?! How cool is that?

    Why can't we (as Brewer FANS) talk about the wild-card when sports writers are saying stuff such as... "Ben Sheets is back to being a flat-out stud, going 4-1 with a 2.66 ERA in July and quietly putting the upstart Brew Crew in the NL wild-card race -- no foolin'." I think is stupid if people are saying talking about the wildcard is foolish. Why? Why can't we as fans hope for something like that. You know what? This game is a big game because we will probably lose tommarow against Pedro and losing these two will for sure make us lose this series. Whether we're shoot for 500 or a wildcard or even the division champs, we can't lose series. So tongiht is a big (dare i say it) must win game.

    He didnt shut us down, but we only got three hits. Thankfully two were HR's. But 3 hits and 11 K's. Thats usually shutting a team down in most cases.

    rluniski...i think ive asked before, but i dont think i read an answer ever....how or where do you get those percentages every series? I think it's real interesting.

    Why not hit with Magruder with a lead like this. For some reaosn if Turnbow loses it in the ninth (unlikely, but could happen) why burn the good PH now. Save them for an emergency later in the game.

    Because . . . A.) Give another rest day for our bullpen who blew a game earlier in the season. B.) Give our strating pitchers somethign to shoot for. If two guys go out and pitch CG's they want to pitch their butts off to do the same. C.) it's now a 4 run lead (Damian just hit his HR as I am typing.) D.) It would give Cappy more confidence as the season goes on. E.) I just like Cappy, and he has been upset at his outtings that have been good. If he can finally please himself wiht a long CG start like this I wil be happy for him.
