  2. Could someone please clarify: If Crew goes on to win, is Webb tagged with loss or not since he left game tied? I know he is charged the runs.
  3. bob brainerd has breached FSN Code of Conduct, he just asked those ladies to take off their shirts and give htem to Daron!
  4. I'm convinced that Daron Sutton does not know where the strike zone is. None of those pithces were strikes as he claims.
  5. We should have a "PUTS THAT ONE TO BED" tally for Daron sometime. Goddddddddd
  6. http://lauriat.com/baseball/july02/09%20-%20press%20box.jpg I happened across this pic of the press box at County Stadium - man that's wretched.
  7. Someone please tell me, how many times are they going to show the same segment of Bill marinating the chicken breasts? Seriously, can't they find anything better to show?
  8. The Brew Crew looks to inch within one game of the .500 mark when it takes on the Cincinnati Reds at Great American Ballpark tonight in the first of a three game set. On the hill for the Brewers will be right hander Tomo Ohka. Ohka's last start against his former club, the Washington Nationals, proved good enough for the win, as he surrendered three earned runs in seven innings. Ohka has yet to face the Reds this season. The Reds will counter with righty Ramon Ortiz, who has a penchant for allowing the big early inning run tallies. In his only start against the Brewers this season at Miller Park, he gave up six earned runs on seven hits in only two innings. Geoff Jenkins lit up Ortiz for a two run homer in the pitcher's first start after a stint on the disabled list. Speaking of Jenkins, the Brewers hottest hitter is in the midst of a 14 game hitting streak, during which he is batting .451 (23 for 51). GO GET EM CREW!
  9. Can someone explain how the odds in baseball work? I understand the spread in basketball and football, but what does +140 refer to? Thanks.
  10. Fresh off a sensational, 5-4 comeback win over St. Louis, your Milwaukee Brewers continue their series against the Cardinals in the third game of a four game set. It'll be ace Benny Sheets (5-6, 3.45) taking on Mark Mulder (10-5, 4.13). Should be a great pitching duel.
  11. did anyone else hear it when bill's audio got all screwed up and it sounded like he was talking in a microphone?
  12. We may see Helms get the start tonight, has good career numbers versus Burnett. I hate watching him bat though, has to tighten those batting gloves after every pitch.
  13. Anyone have a scouting report on Burnett? He seems to be in the same mold as Beckett, is he not? The way they hype Beckett he seems to be superior, and if we pounded him, why can't we handle Burnett tonight (fingers crossed)?
  14. I wonder who will bat leadoff since Brady is apparently sitting tonight...? CF Magruder 2B Weeks 1B Overbay LF Lee RF Jenkins C Miller 3B Branyan SS Hardy P Ohka This is how I see it shaping up tonight. Give Hall another night off.
  15. Ohka has made two starts against the Marlins this year and, tonight's matchup does not look favorable, to say the least. Florida pounded him against the Nationals, albeit with some shaky Washington defense. I just don't have a good feeling about tonight.
  16. I'm blanking out. What is the Yost quote where he says "gamers, fighters, etc." and when did he say it?
  17. Chris Capuano Walks Way Too Many Batters Tonight I hope not
  18. I'm praying that, should Ohka's performance deserve a post-game interview tonight, Coshun saves us from Bob Braindead. That abomination of an interview was only last week and remains fresh in my mind. Braindead: "TOMAAAH, incredible job. Weren't you unnerved out there (shoving mic in Tomo's face and making him feel all uncomfortable)
  19. I really hope that post game interview conducted by Brainard does not represent the official Milwaukee welcome. Bob, his name is TOMO, not TOMAH...also, could you speak any faster? You're looking at "Tomah" and asking him if he's unnerved Give me a break...just because using the word of the day when speaking to a Japanese guy who barely understands English is some kind of power trip for you. Bob's gotstaaaa go! Also, can't Daron and Bill talk aobut something other than whether Bill can throw his late night pizza into the garbage dump below the hotel room? JESUS!!!!!!!!!!!! I'm gonna go nuts.
  20. Bill Hall starting today at SS....
