  1. I think we will find out the SS for next year at the trade deadline. If they want to make a run, they will upgrade their bullpen and SS at the deadline.
  2. Would never happen. Injury risk could cost him 100 mil dollars. 0 chance they even think about it.
  3. If they're looking at medical records, any chance that Rogers could be in this?
  4. So they probably sending the $2 mil for the buyout after this year. We won't be paying him $6 mil to be playing shortstop in 2012.
  5. I totally see Reyes as well in that picture. Yikes!
  6. Greinke probably would have taken Lawrie and 2 high level pitching prospects. (Odorizzi/Jeffress/Rogers/etc...) Plus he is making over 12 mil a year. (they would have control for 2 years)
  7. What are the chances we could deal for Branyan. Lineup would look better than anything were putting out there now. We keep McGehee in the starting lineup and put Counsell on the bench where he is more valuable. Defense will drop off a little bit, but Hall and Gamel just aren't getting it done at 3B. Big question is whether Hart should be hitting leadoff. 1. Hart - RF 2. Hardy - SS 3. Braun - LF 4. Fielder - 1B 5. McGehee - 2B 6. Branyan - 3B 7. Cameron - CF 8. Kendall - C 9. Pitcher Branyan 3B, McGehee 2B, Counsell Bench > McGehee 3B, Counsell 2B
  8. I read that the Yankees were interested in Cameron again. (Per Jayson Stark) Would trading him and inserting Chris Duffy into CF make sense. It adds a left-handed bat into the lineup with some reasonable speed. He won't hit the homers Cameron will, but he will steal some bases, hit for a higher average, have a lot less strikeouts, and get on base more. We need more hitters that are going to hit for a decent average without striking out. Duffy should provide that. In the trade we could look for a pitcher that can help our pitching staff this year, because we could definitely use some better pitching.
  9. Anyone know if there is any gameday or play by play stats anywhere online. I don't think MLB gameday is being used. Any others that anyone knows of?
  10. Will the Brewers Radio Network carry spring training games on Wisconsin radio? Does Fox Sports Wisconsin plan on showing any games? I don't see any on the schedule.
  11. I read in a few different places that they plan to start Chris Davis at 1B.
  12. Hank Blalock is supposedly out of favor in Texas with Michael Young moving to third base. Would he be a possibilty for a trade. It would add a left-handed bat to our lineup. Injuries have hurt him in the past though. Rich Hill is in the same situation after have a abysmal 08 season, spending most of his time in the minors. This could be a low-cost option for some pitching that could be a low-risk, high-reward possibility. Two years ago he had a great season. Would be worth a waiver I believe.
  13. Yea I'm in Milwaukee
  14. What packages do i need to order to get the brewers on DISH Network. I am having trouble trying to figure this out.
  15. Since Rickie's wrist has been a big problem ever since he came up, is it time to change the swing so that the bat waggle doesn't keep Rickie struggling. I don't believe he ever used the waggle until the pros, and he was a great hitter in college. Why not go back to more normal swing?
  16. Todd Walker will supposedly be released on Wednesday. I think he would be a perfect fit for out last infielder position. He can play 1B, 2B, 3B. A decent left-handed stick off the bench.
  17. Anyone else's FSN keep cutting out? And who are these announcers, they are terrible.
  18. How about picking up Ryan Church to play Centerfield. Younger guy who has shown some potential the last 2 years and is out of favor in Washington after they obtained Chris Snelling. He's 28, which isn't too young, but I think he's worth giving a shot.
  19. What's goin on with Wise lately, just hasn't been himself
  20. according to the dodgers press pass, it will be perez today and dessens tomorrow
  21. ahead or behind, mine is like 2 pitches behind
  22. yost just said its because of all the lefties in the pirates bullpen, so he likes the righty lefty right lefty set up
  23. whats up with branyan batting after damian
