  2. Sunday 8/10: Via the Journal Sentinel Podcast: "We're one month away from more Milwaukee playoff baseball. The Brewers have held their own during this long stretch without an off day, including an excellent series in Toronto, but a couple sloppy losses made it an uneven week. Brewers reporter Curt Hogg and host JR Radcliffe discuss the bullpen's fatigue, particularly without injured closer Trevor Megill. How big of a loss is he? When Rhys Hoskins comes back, what happens with a struggling Andrew Vaughn? Another check in with the rotation after a tough outing from Brandon Woodruff, but Quinn Priester and Freddy Peralta continue to be nails, Jacob Misiorowski bounces back and ... Erick Fedde is here now? In Three Up Three Down (30:00), they discuss the Andruw Monasterio experience, Jackson Chourio's surging return and thoughts on a backup catcher. In Remembrew When (55:30), JR looks back at a season opener, when something unrelated to the Brewers happened that also happened this week. And in Curt Blanche (1:03:00), Curt discovers the previously unknown joy of a prominent aspect in traditional society. Then, JR sits down with Brewers veteran reliever Shelby Miller (1:11:15), discussing his first tenure with the Brewers (when he didn't pitch in the big leagues), his near no-hitter and what's worked so well this year. 5. Strongly suggest listening to Manager Victor Estevez' comments on Dinges' defense and the organization's plans for him this fall, all within the early portions of the linked podcast above.
  6. No Levering on FanDuel or TMJ. Is this Jeff’s first series miss in pretty much forever?
  7. So long story short, there was no disrespect shown by the JABO team, and as far as what was seen on FanDuel, it probably was an unintentional oversight by others. Regardless, in deference to Ueck and to all, and to limit this getting any additional traction, closing the thread. But the insights within were appreciated and interesting. Thanks for understanding.
  8. Via the JABO folks: “We were aware the ACLS clinch call wasn’t Ueck’s call (we actually learned that in the process of making the documentary) and never represented that way in the film…we didn’t ID announcers as there were a lot of them throughout the course of the movie, and we occasionally cut back and forth between local and national calls; obviously there were a good amount of Dwayne Mosley calls. Not sure if the ALCS clinch call was used in Ueck’s celebration of life videos shown on FanDuel, but we didn’t create those. We did the in-stadium videos and that call was NOT included in our material. (They did use some of our material for what was shown on air, but we had no editorial control over that.) Hope that helps.”
  9. Friday 8/29: Via WTMJ's Morning News (download link): President of Business Operations Rick Schlesinger talks prep for a great Labor Day Week at the ballpark Via SportsNet in Toronto: Brewers radio voice Josh Maurer (go to the 04:00 minute mark) Via 97.3's "No BS Show": Former Brewers Bullpen Catcher Marcus Hanel Via 105.7 The Fan's "Wisconsin Sports Daily Show": "Tim Dillard breaks down the Brewers huge series against the Toronto Blue Jays this weekend! Tim explains why getting guys like Jackson Chourio & Rhys Hoskins back can't be viewed as a problem by fans." Via 105.7 The Fan's "Wisconsin Sports Daily Show": "Forbes Sports Brewers Writer Andrew Wagner analyzes all the different roster moves made by the Brewers Friday. Drew breaks down why every baseball fan should have their eyes on Brewers vs. Blue Jays this weekend!" Postgame Shows after the 7-2 win in Toronto: WTMJ with Dom Cotroneo - Craig Coshun is Dom's guest 97.3 The Game with Tim Allen and crew

  11. Thanks Ben, for giving me the weekend off, great job! Like the Brewers, the Link Report Staff is deep!
  12. I have pointed out this thread to the “Just A Bit Outside” producers, who were asked to put together the memorial video packages, and otherwise did a spectacular job. Guessing they may have been under the impression that was Uecker on that call. Personally over the years I always thought the tone of that highlight call was Bob, but that some sort of technical audio issue altered his voice just a bit. Silly assumption. Completely learned something here.
