    Where exactly do you see him playing? He is a below average hitter that will take away AB's from the Young guys that need them. If we want to take away AB's from the young guys, i'm fine with it for a longer term piece. Example - You trade Frelick for Jazz Chisholm

    Not really a good comparison - Giolito had a 3.79 ERA with a 4.43 FIP with 117 ERA+ at the time of the trade Flaherty has 2.92 ERA with a 2.70 FIP and a 143 ERA+ Flaherty will cost a bit more.

    If they are willing to Listen on Skubal, i would offer any prospect we have. We would have him this year and the next two for sure.

    Realisticlly, you would have to trade Frelick, Misiorowski and either Black/Wilken to even be in the conversation.

    Merrill will start the year in AAA - He can also play OF this year ( there OF is weak ) they could put Merrill in LF and Sal in CF Bogs/Kim/Adames can play 3B/SS/2b and Machado can DH So Adames does fit
