  1. He is basically Frelick's double- Unless he is a big upgrade at Defense over Collins dont see the reason why.
  2. I just dont get why some of you guys are against trading when we have a legit chance.... Oh No...We cant give up on a guy that could be good for a guy that has proven this year that he is a difference maker. If we would have traded Henderson in the offseasn ( when he was our 17th best prospect) none of you would be against the trade
  3. They overpay, beat us for division and we lose WC series...Rinse and repeat
  4. 1. Trade for Suarez 2. Unload Hoskins to a team that needs a 1b. ( Win-Win trade for both) 3. Trade for Taj Bradley - Rumored to be available - Controllable through 2029 - Let the Brewers work their Magic.
  5. If we can get Suarez for Henderson and a couple of other low end prospects, you do it. We haven't gone all in since 2018. Wonder if we could unload Hoskins in the deal
  6. Utility Guy who is their leadoff hitter who is an upgrade over Durbin and Ortiz.
  7. They Probably wont trade him but Austin Riley would solve alot of problems.
  8. Ramirez would cost Made or Pena plus probably boeve and Hendeson
  9. Even though i was opposed to giving up something big for him, I think Josh Smith is the target. He can play all IF positions and play LF if needed. Guy has been Very steady since June 1st and wouldn't really disrupt the lineup. Can play 5 times a week and give all the IF guys a break. Guy has 3 years of control left. Rangers are still in the playoff hunt ( only 1.5 games back of WC) - So i doubt they would trade him, but they are one of the teams that need SP
  10. Lopez is an upgrade over Joey Guess who is ortiz
  11. Seen/heard about a player that hasn't been mentioned mentioned on here alot involved in some trade talks. If the Royals to sell, the player is Maikel Garcia - While i dont know what they royals would trade a 25 yr old who is putting up better than avg numbers, who knows. Would immediately be out starting 3B, moves Calab to more of a utility role. Names I've seen for him would be Boove or Black, and Yoho
  12. Brewers are listed on CBS as one of the teams to pull of a "blockbuster" trade for Eugenio Suarez and the key piece going back to the Dbacks in Tobias Myers. I mean if that is the cost, Suarez will be a Brewer
  13. The longer we wait ( say end of next season) the more this will turn into a Garrett Crochet type contract.
  14. Braves would never trade him, but Frelick/Pena/Pratt/Quero/Henderson could be an idea for them
  15. Peralta for Lawler is more like it
  16. From MLB.com Trade Candidates Ryan McMahon, 3B, Rockies The Rockies had hoped for McMahon to be part of their core when they turned things around, but Colorado appears to be far away from that point, making McMahon a potential trade chip. The 30-year-old has turned things around following a sluggish start, hitting seven homers with 16 RBIs and an .855 OPS in 37 games since May 7, while ranking in the top 10 percent of the league this season in average exit velocity, hard-hit percentage and walk percentage. A stellar defensive third baseman, McMahon is signed for $12 million in 2025 and $16 million in each of the next two seasons. Potential fits: Brewers, Tigers, Twins, Yankees I know McMahon has been mentioned here before - I just think its going to happen. His Road/home splits aren't good, but i can't tell if that is due to his extremely poor start - Since May 1
  17. Was tying to find a simialr player profile to Freddy that signed a contract recently and only one around the age i could find is Robby Ray back in 2021 -He signed a 5/115 contract with opt out after year 3. I think that is Freddy Ceiling for a contract
  18. Its always been about pitch count with Freddy. He's averaging 17.2 pitches per inning which is a lot.
  19. Yes, that story. The one that has a buy out after this season, which he might take. - Redsox would have to kick in some $$
  20. Vaughn has all the tools to be a serviceable 1B - Just needs to take a walk here and there - Very similar advance numbers to Hoskins
  21. Why would the white Sox ever do that? Eventhough he is having a down season, Luis Robert is >>>Rodriguez
