  3. i believe that the second rehab start for Cap was gonna be in Beloit, not Indy anways. They have a TBD so Im assuming he will pitch there or Mil.
  4. hey mass, what happened to Matt Ford. I dont remember reading anything about him being out.
  5. sorry, had a work meeting, havent checked in since early on.
  6. after 1 stars down 2-1 Weeks with a leadoff dinger. Baybears with a triple, then a basehit. Sarfate pickoff attempt went past fielder, totally on Sarfate according to announcer. Runner gets to third. K, ground out scores run, k. Both K's came on fastballs. 93mph and then 95 to end the inning.
  7. Beloits game got rained out. DH tomorrow. Starting at 11am.
  8. thanks for the info. i remember that artible now, i must have been thinking of someone else. Well,i can see why he has had his ups and downs this year so far. High potential I would think though.
  9. Every time I see Sarfarte listed I get excited. ------------ Me too, seems like he has the tools to be a top notch prospect. Correct me if Im wrong those who pay more attention, I thought I read somewhere that he throws in the mid nineties and has a wicked curve ball, but needs to work on a third pitch, and commad of all his pitches.
  10. you guys didnt actually think that now because we have a top minor league program wed actually changed our luck? This orgranization has been stuck in futility for decades and it will prolly stay that way. Ive accepted the fact that we, the brewers, will never see a playoff game played in Milwaukee, probably ever again. AHHHHHHHHH!! Frustration mounts as prospects drop!
  11. Yikes, HD was up 3-2 in the 8th but gave up 7 runs. Question for you minor league experts. Does HD have any chance at ever becoming decent? Im assuming they will inherit some Beloit guys after the June draft, but does anyone have a clue if and who it would be? Someone like a Dana Eveland making a move before AA next year?
  12. doubtful hart was in the lineup due the game still being in Ottawa. They probably just sent him home.
  13. it is interesting regarding Adams, but can it hurt? Doubt it, we need all the help we can get from starting pitching. It cant be worse than what weve got right now in Milwaukee.
  14. www.med.umich.edu/1libr/s...ux_sma.htm Heres some info on what Hardy has. Seems minor, yet could possibly reoccur.
  15. stars win 8-5 Got two runs in the ninth. Weeks- E-6 Gwnn- BB Prince- Single through the right side, scored Rickie, Tony to third Nelson- GIDP, run scores Gemoll- out, spaced out Bottom of ninth Leadoff double. K Deep flyout K Game over
  16. joe checked my post that ive updated. a few back from this one.
  17. not sure what happend in both games or who is pitching for Beloit. -------- capuano was going for beloit. 3 inning rehab stint.
  18. Gemoll just hit a grand slam in the top of 1. Weeks Kd Gwynn walked Prince singled up the middle Nelson walked Gemoll- jack -------- top of 2 Raburn- reached on error Costello- K Weeks- Infield chopper squeaks through Gwynn- FC, broken bat to second, first and third 2 out Prince- chopper over 1st basemand head, runner scores, tony to third. Nelson(or nelly as the huntsville guy calls him) Ground out to 1st. 5-0 Stars. top of 3 still 5-0 Gemoll- 6-3 close play Kade- F-8 leaping play by CF to rob of hit. Barnwell- 1b up the middle Raburn- 3-1 Stll 5-0 ---- Top of 4 Costello- 6-3 weeks- F-9 Tony Jr.-- missed the rest, woman called still 5-0 after 4 Top 5 Costello gave up a basehit rbi and a 2 run dinger Stars 5-3 PRince- F-7 Nelly- E-6. stolen base Gemoll- RBI double Kade- IBB Barnwel- Runners moving, comebacker, pitcher has to go to first. Announcer praising Frank Kremblas. Raburn- iBB bases loaded two outs Costello-k Top of 6 now 6-5 stars, Baybears with some hits and a close play at the plate from a good Tony Jr throw, after running down a liner, go their way. dam, i gotta run. sorry folks.
  19. Mass, i downloaded Indys link and have Sean Hannity on right now. You said there have been problems with the site. Does this mean its working, or are just the games a problem?
  20. huntsville had the bases loaded in the 9th and 10th with one out and failed to score a run. In the 10th Brad Nelson struck out, and Kade JOhnson then Kd. Bottom of 10 Rios gives up GWHR to first batter. Stars lose 4-3 Saenz pitched pretty well. Weeks with 2 hits and 2 HBP. Whats up with Rickie getting hit so much. Has anyone seen some of these games this year? OR heard announcers talk about it? Maybe something should be said to the league because thats dangerous to get hit so much.
  21. how did we get the bases loaded? who squeezed who in?
  22. looks like the weather has finally cleared up in Huntsville too, should be able to finally get some games in this week.
  23. These Indians seem to have a lot of these "Johnny Whole Staff" pitching games... -------- thats cause most of their starters cant get outta the 4ith inning. Except Hendrickson.
  24. Gamesmanship. What did you expect him to say? "Yah, that rookie from AA really handed it to us." And there is probably some glint of truth to his statement - Saenz doesn't have the best stuff in the world, and Pujols and the Cards have beaten better. -------------- HUH? since when is having a 93MPH fastball with command, a pretty damn good curveball that you can throw for strikes and a changeup not pretty good stuff? Do you expect 98 miles per hour for it to be great? Saenz has really good stuff, a great head on his shoulders and confidence in his abilities. Thats a great makeup for a pitcher and combine that with three pitches that he can throw for strikes and keep hitters off balance, and youve got a pretty good pitcher.
