  1. No home runs in almost 3 weeks I think. 0.346 OPS in the past 15 games
  2. Bad miss on the pitch by Monasterio but we shouldn't be relying on career minor leaguers to produce for us. Urías should have been the one with a base hit not the guy 18th on the depth chart.
  3. Maybe buy out his next year of arbitration and a year of FA depending on how he does this year. I wouldn't really be comfortable with anything more.
  4. I would much rather give someone like Boushley a chance than throw money at Lindblom 2.0. He isn't stellar either but he is already in the organisation and is pitching better so far this season,
  5. At this point, you should start including Brosseau in the bullpen usage spreadsheet given he's played in 2 games in the past week.
  6. With Rea already covering for Woody who covers for Lauer in the rotation for the next start? Wilson? Bullpen game?
  7. Miggy has the same speed (understandable as he is 40). Next guys on the list are Grandal (22.7), Kirk (23.0), Rowdy (23.8) and Vogelbach (23.9). Perez is 292 with (24.9)
  8. Yep. Winker is the slowest runner in baseball according to Statcast. He is 302 of 302 in average speed with at least 25 competitive runs at 22.6ft/s.
  9. Really unfortunate. I had high hopes for him and he started brightly but after that line drive to the face he had just not been the same.
  10. That's actually a really good point. Would be even worse than Coors Field. Maybe Monterrey though.
  11. The city's population is comparable to Dallas, not to mention the rest of the country would be very interested. The city is also growing with a lot of recent investment there. Really good option. Maybe integrate the local LMB team there?
  12. In Mexico a media deal would probably go to either Televisa (TUDN) or Azteca. Safety is obviously an issue but its the same with unsafe cities in the US. It's not like the team would be in Culiacán or Ciudad Juárez, which are extremely unsafe. Mexico City is perfectly fine.
  13. MVP: Willy Adames CY Young: Corbin Burnes Rookie of the Year: Garrett Mitchell BA Leader: Sal Frelick .300 but does not qualify HR Leader: Rowdt Tellez 36HR ERA Leader: Burnes for SP. Williams for everyone 50 IP+ SO Leader: Corbin Burnes 230+ WAR Leader: Willy Adames 5-6 Breakout(s): Frelick, Mitchell, Varland, Urías Disappointment(s): Winker, Contreras, Ashby (injuries) Bold Prediction (s): Yelich is a lot better. Not 18-19 but hits 20+ HR. We trade one of the big 3 at the deadline. Record: 88-74 Playoffs? Yes, Wildcard, lose to Braves in NLDS
