  1. OH WHAT A MAMMOTH SHOT BILL
  2. OH **** VAUGHN LETS GO TAKE THAT
  3. Okokok I am liking this more. Now a bomb!
  4. I liked the idea of going with Ashby but it just blew up
  5. Agreed. I'd give him the second but have someone in the pen in case he gets in trouble
  6. Do we keep Ashby in for the bottom of the order in the second inning? I don't want him too see the top again
  7. That went just about as bad as it could have
  8. The Jays are just dragging the Yankees through the floor. Its ugly (but beautiful)
  9. Because in the post-season having longer games is not a hindrance to retention rates. Manfred is obsessed with reducing game lengths. No one wants to watch the Pirates and Angels go 15 in mid-April. The logic changes in the playoffs. Having 2:30 hour games stops being the priority because these are nationally televised games woth very real and very immediate implications.
  10. 2026 will be the first full seasons from Misiorowski, Gasser and Henderson which will be interesting. Crow, Cornielle and Kuehner are all interesting arms that could be up by mid season. 2027 is definitively MORE exciting (Letson, Wichrowski, Hardin, Hunt) but I would not characterise 2026 as a hole
  11. A win! Nice! Suck it cubbies! Fast start and never looked back. Unfortunate that we don't play tomorrow. Bats fell a sleep by the end but I'm not worried seeing as they had a 6 run lead. Hope Chourio is ok. Pitching was great. Peralta did his job and did it fantastically well. Pen was solid. I don't mind a couple of solo shots when up by a lot. Monday is Priester day! Time to start a new Priester winning streak!
  12. Solo homers: Cubs 2 Brewers 0 Oh no!
  13. I guess Civale will pitch until his arm falls off. Clown$ell can't afford to use any decent relievers today.
  14. Hoping for a quick inning for Freddy. We need the bats to stay alive. More runs would be fantastic but at least force Soroka out by the 4th. Dont let him throw 10 pitches per inning. Edit: I cant type lol
