Fld% is an awful way to gauge defensive ability but over 683 chances at second he carried a .974 Fld% which is decent enough He is not a fantastic defensive IF. He is mediocre at best. I prefer it 1000% to Monasterios 50 wRC+

Yeah Mitchell for Cameron is the obvious move. Agree re: Perkins. Especially because his injury has kept him out way longer.

I'd beg to differ on Collins as not a legit option in the infield. He has almost 1500 minor league innings at 2B and just over 2000 in the OF. He spent roughly 40% of his pro career in the infield. As a bench bat, I think his above average bat and below average IF defense is worth a lot more than Mona's average to above average defense and awful bat.

At this point, in my opinion, he has made others expendable. 108 wRC+ from a bench bat is ideal. Puts together good AB's and offers some defensive versatility. Once Mitchell and Perkins return I think he has earned his spot over Mona and Cameron
