  1. Jesus Made Made has shot up in rankinkgs like crazy. The tools are interesting. Ony thing is wait and see if he is our next Chourio or if he goes de Hedbert Perez route.Jacob Misiorowski To me, this is Miz's final year to show he can become a starter (R5 eligible at the end of the season). Control is the final hurdle. Things look good in the early going (13.5 BB% vs 14.4% last year) but I need to see ideally under 12%, or something like 12.5%Jeferson Quero Quero is staying here thanks to his track record from 2021-2023. When he comes back, we need to see if he has regained his ability to throw. If he loses another season he will start going down for me.Cooper Pratt How did we get him so late in the draft! He is electric! An ok start in Biloxi so now all he needs is to go up! Also the power looks different this season!Robert Gasser Was fantastic last year. Hope we see him in September. Tyler Black #1 Get well soon. #2 Fix that leg kick so you can hit your way into the lineup. #3 Find a defensive homeMike Boeve Another injury. This year is rough for prospects. Looked great in Biloxi last year. Would not be shocked to see him in Nashville in September (if he gets healthy fast)Logan Henderson I've sang Logan's praises for a while. Looked great in MLB. If either the cutter or the slider can become even 45 grade pitches then that is our #4-5 for the next few years.Eric Bitonti Early in the season but it is looking great. Walks are up, K's are down (please get it under 25%) and he is hitting liners like nobody's buisness.Luke Adams Early struggles but the batted ball numbers aren't bad and the discipline is there (sometimes a little too much!) Brock Wilken Has not been great to start the season, but hasn't looked awful either That HBP really broke him :( Looking for a bounceback season.Carlos F Rodriguez Rough start to an MLB career but he has been fantastic early this season. My guess is we see him again relatively soon,Jadher Areinamo I undrstand he needed work on "pitch recognition" but he should've started in Biloxi. Gotta fix that funky set up though. Don't want him to be carried by his sheer ability to hit but be stopped by higher levels with no way to adjust (a la Wiemer).Brett Wichrowski Last year was great. Hoping he joins Biloxi soon.Luis Lara The speed and defense have always been there. The hit tool isn't terrible but not spectacular and he has basically no power. On track to be a fantastic 4th OF/ Pinch runner type Josh Knoth Lost season, maybe even part of next, to TJ. The stuff and K's are impressive but we don't hace much else. Interesting guy, lets see how he does.Luis Pena Fantastic DSL season last year and opening to Carolina this year. Braylon Payne I didn't love him as our pick last year but he has been going strong and proving me wrong.Josh Adamczewski Another beast who I think we will see in Biloxi at some point this year. That swing is so beautiful.Marco Dinges Has been hitting great. The throwing is iffy but the receiving is not bad. Hopefully he sticks at catcher. Reaaally tough list to make. There's alwasy like 15 guys competing for the final 5 spots. It was between Holobetz and Dinges for that final spot. Other guys I like: Woodward (I hate injuries!), Burke, Fenelon, Hardin, Cornielle, Letson, Wood, diTuri, Ordonez, Birchard, Rodriguez, Guilarte, Anderson, Hunt, Meccage, Baez, Woessner, O'Rae, Nicasia, Langhorne, Torres, Vire, Aquino, Brown JR, Bowman, Childers, Kuehner, Yeager, Middendorf. Guys who missed: Yoho, Patrick- Pitching well in the majors. Rookies, not prospects in my opinion (even if technically speaking they are considered prospects. Durbin- Would not have cracked my list. Also unlikely to be sent down any time soon. EMJ- Too old to be a prospect. To me he is AAAA depth who just needs a chance to prove himself
  2. NEGATIVE OPS+! When do you ever see that? 3 for 43. I like Capra I think he is a good guy but he is clearly overmatched. Monasterio's .750 AAA OPS is calling me
  3. Collins was just getting hot and now he's pulled :( I hope he is alright. Also yay more Capra. Bench looking really thin today with Turang out, Collins now out, Haase who can only catch and Daz Cameron
  4. Save situation. Payamps shouldn't even take off his jacket
  5. I was thinking as depth in case Monasterio performs like he did last year. For a month until we can trade for a real major leaguer. Agreed that Toro would be a good option
  6. Exactly my point. We control him for 6 years (a bit more as he was a September call up). This is year number 4. By now he should have played 350-ish games with us. Because of injuries he's played under 162.
  7. Maton for cash? I mean he can't be worse than Capra
  8. Good win. Shakey bullpen but we got the W
  9. Yeah. Not sure it should have but Im not complaining
  10. Maybe got lucky on that call. Still great play
  11. Please don't take this the wrong way but I dont care about he stacks up against 2020 1st rounders in terms of WAR, Great that he is in tied 4th out of 30. Tied in 6th if you consider the entire draft (which I believe is much more appropriate). To me that only shows how much potential the guy has and how much it has been wasted. With his WAR/162 numbers he should actually be closer to 12. I do also prefer fWAR but thats honestly not an issue. Most of the value he gets comes from baserunning and defense. With his injury history and the way just ageing works, he is in his prime production years and those numbers will start to nosedive in 3-4 years. So the injuries are key because he will never produce at the same level as he does right now and he won't have success in the long term (especially if his hitting degrades more)
  12. I don't know how I feel about Mitchell. He's the kind of guy who gets me excited but in 4 years he's spent the majority of his time in the IL and can't get the K% under 30%. He has only played 141 games and is arbitration elligible next year. I don't know how sustainable it is, especially as he ages and the defence and speed nose dive. Wouldn't call him a bust but by now I think he will never live up to his potential
  13. I'm sure we could trade for like Abraham Toro or Charles LeBlanc and they wouldn't cost much
  14. Cameron has been red hot in Nashville (1.273 OPS!) so maybe he can bring in a little something
  15. Really hard throw for Turang to make but Hoskins has to pick that.
  16. Priester can't find it today. Giants game all over again
  17. Collins has a bunch of experience at 2nd (1500 minor league innings). Im sure Turang can handle SS for an inning or 2
  18. Monasterio's .697 AAA OPS surely can do better than Capra.
