  1. https://www.mlb.com/press-release/press-release-brewers-add-pat-casey-and-jace-peterson-as-consultants-to-player-development-and-high-performance This was news a month ago
  2. Super 2 is still a concern. I don't know if they will wait, but its a thing to keep in mind
  3. That attempt to catch Mitchell was just awful
  4. Oh! Yeah lets go with that makes me sound smart
  5. Solid work by Payamps to work around the double
  6. If Turang can maintain a .750 OPS with 10-15 HRs and 30+ SB a season with platinum glove defence....
  7. Phantom IL for Thomas. To the lab and then I assume he gets one last chance
  8. Yeah, If the ERA was closer to the 4.75-5.15 I'd be more excited. We'll se how he does. If we get 400 IP to the tune of a 4.50 ERA over the next 4 years then I'll be happy to have been wrong with my gut feeling with this trade
  9. Well, if the season implodes and Perkins+ one more OFer gets hurt he'll be an interesting depth piece. No disrespect to mister Cameron but if we see him in Milwaukee then things are really, REALLY bad.
  10. Yeah. To me its not about the quantity of pitchers, rather the quality of players. Signings like Pratt require savvy management of the bonus pool and this trade hurts it
  11. Giving up 3 million in slot money is what really sucks. I don't particularly care for the pick per se. Given the recent success acquiring talent in later rounds it really hurts
  12. I really hate this. The Statcast numbers are unimpressive. I liked Yophery and I reaaally hate losing a lot of draft money, considering the Brewer's strategy the past few years. Really hope this pans out. I trust the org but this one is a tough pill to swallow
  13. I will not stand for this. WHERE IS BOB KOSLOWSKI?!?!?!?
  14. Gives up the homer but solid comeback by Chad
  15. I would love for EBJ to show that first round talent
  16. A 45-50 grade changeup would be a game changer. That zone% though... If he could average above 40-45% consistently...
  17. Very different players. Hader only reeled it in as a reliever and 2017 was a particularly bad year. Overall he had more control even with his early arm slot problems. Misiorowski's delivery is so wild that I doubt he will get that walk rate down until he tunes it down a little bit. And I would like to give Miz at least one more year before we move him to the pen
  18. I'd rather have Anderson pitch than Elvis
