  1. Is Counsell getting playoff ready by trying something like this tonight? Bringing back the opener....
  2. The key is can Tellez and Anderson swallow their pride and do what it takes to help when called upon. They were starters at the beginning of the season for a reason. All 3 have looked lost at the plate lately, which is to be expected if you are not getting at bats.
  3. How do good teams turn into great teams? If you have ever been played for, been a part of, or coached a great team, you know there is a difference between a good team, and a great one. What is that difference? When your superstars are being supported by surrounding players that are performing. In the Brewers case, the hitting superstar means Yelich. We are already seeing what their superstar trio of pitchers are doing. Yelich is the hitting superstar that will either lead the Brewers to the Series, or he won't. But to say we should shelve him for a couple weeks in the middle of the penant race? No way! Yelich has obviously been scuffling lately, and turns out that may be because of his bad back. The baseball season, however, is a long season full of ups and downs. He is not that far removed from putting this team on his back along with William Contreras and carrying them for a big chunk of the season. Does he need to get hot again? Absolutely. But you gotta remember a lot of the pitches that William Contreras has been seeing this year are because pitchers are more careful working to Yelich, and thus have to pitch to Contreras. The time to rest is in November. Do everything you can to get back out there Yeli, the Crew needs you!
  4. Can't wait to get Yeli back and hitting with our newfound offensive production!
  5. It's a different offense now than it was to start the season. Seems like when Sal joined the team, he brought with him a bunch of patience at the plate and shared it with the rest of the team.
