  1. I find it interesting that contrary to belief his sweeper actually performs better against lefties w/ Cardinals w/ Brewers I was certain that they'll fade sweeper against righties and they did. For now, I believe the main culprit for his problem is that his command for fastball regress quite a bit compared to first half.
  2. I'm assuming that means if he accepts bonus within $225k before next year he won't enter the draft and thus doesn't occupy any draft slot? *Edit: Indeed he won't. I believe below is the only such case in current CBA.
  3. Left/Right split is pretty glaring this year, personally don't trust him at high leverage position at all.
  4. Latest 4 starts? 0.70 ERA / 29.5 K-BB% / 60.3 GB% Impressive.
  5. Ragsdale's stats before today. He's lowkey an interesting prospect. Don't think I've seen any batted ball data from him on BA yet, hopefully there will be soon. Also it's kind of mind-blowing that he didn't hit any popup. Knoth has been performing well lately, and it's interesting that he turns into a heavy groundball pitcher upon returning, not entirely sure if it's arsenal related.
  6. Ebel cooled down quite a bit in June, so good to see him bounce back today.
  7. Well unfortunately Astros might not be sellers according to rumors. Make sense cause ALW is pretty weak right now.
  8. Frelick' career numbers against RHP in MLB: 0.299 xwOBA, 84.8 EV, 25.3 HH%, 2.6 Barrel%, 31.6 LA-SwSp%, 102wRC+ Maybe I'm being too optimistic, but I totally think Lara has the ability to match that production from left side, and comfortably beats Frelick's numbers against LHP.
  9. TJStats has his own model for xwOBA, so the numbers are quite different from what you'll see on savant. Also Lara as LHB Lara as RHB
  10. Quinn Priester's rehab in ACL. You can watch the full livestream of ACL ROYALS vs. ACL BREWERS here.
  11. Burke also cut down his strikeouts and whiffs this month, so still some positives. Personally I believe he'll bounce back.
  12. Though it should be noted that he also let the ball travels a little deeper this year, as his swing length sits at its lowest in recent years. Using the driveline formula for swing acceleration, his acceleration is slightly down this year, but nearly identical to 2024. I wonder if there's some intentional tradeoff element in it as well.
