  1. [ With Miller out we should not expect to see JJ. I checked and he is hitting 320 since he went back to his old stance and attitude. I hope he gets into the line up to see if this is just small sample or a trend we can look forward to. ] Please think carefully before you post next time... Logic and reason have no place in constructing a lineup card.
  2. You can listen to the draft live on MLB Radio (it'll be available off mlb.com's home page, i'm sure). They'll cover all 50 rounds. The chat room will also be buzzing during the draft, as i'm sure people will be racing to post links to data as the picks are being made. There will be a separate thread that the mods here will update with links on each player as fast as humanly possible as well.
  3. He's had good range from what i've seen in person...
  4. Errors are a matter of opinion and often byproducts of good range. While Rickie isn't Ozzie Smith, it's just something to keep in mind.
  5. [ 2-4 with a homer. Time to promote him to AAA. ] Where do you play him?
  6. [ Isn't that your department? Quit slacking man. ] I'd fast, but it's the weekend and it's terrific BBQ weather.
  7. [ Hart sure has bounced back hasn't he. Much to the displeasure of some I am also a proponent of Hart being the next OF promoted. Taking out his Helmsian first month isn't he hitting over .300? Although Cruz seems to be mashing, he needs to cut down his K's first. But he's an intriguing prospect. Same thing with Brad Nelson. The young Nelly probably needs this year and next year at Nashville for sure. I predict the power stroke will come back in the second half for him (fingers crossed). ] Hey there. Please do me a favor and check your ezBoard inbox for a message from me... Thanks!
  8. [ Brian, speaking of Jenkins, how come he always had those freak injuries when he was doing well? ] Because God hates the Milwaukee Brewers. [ Well, most came when doing well. Why not when he was doing poorly? I'm not wishing for an injury, especially since I don't think our corner guys are ready ] I'm certainly not wishing for an injury either, but if Jenks wants to voluntarily retire out of shame and stop getting paid, that'd be OK for the Brewers http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/smile.gif In all honesty, I think Jenks will still come around and I don't think Hart or Nelson is ready to match his production, but Hart has been looking pretty promising now after a slow start, and he's kind of running out of time at AAA. Maybe it's time to conisider him as a reserve in Milwaukee.
  9. [ Heck, they need an outfielder? Promote Nelson Cruz. ] They need a center fielder, not a corner guy... While technically Cruz has played center before, it's probably better to keep him in his position than play him out of position just to get him some at-bats. That's OK. When Geoff Jenkins voluntarily retires and Hart gets promoted, there'll be a spot for Cruz in AAA. http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/wink.gif
  10. Wahpepah looking pretty good so far with 5 IP, 3 H, 0 R, 2 BB, 2 K
  11. Doug's starting to heat up... I'm comfortable with the Sharpie on the mound.
  12. http://www.brewerfan.net/images/other/3to/licenseplate.jpg
  13. This is fixed... and all of the WV Power's player's theme songs are updated as well now.
  14. Nice to see Josh Baker break out of his funk tonight with a strong outing: 5 IP, 1 H, 1 R, 0 ER, 2 BB, 3 K
  15. Just pulled into the hotel in Nashville. Very excited to see Capellan tomorrow, and to partake in some fried catfish nuggets.
  16. Anyone know who's pitching tomorrow for the Sounds? I'm going to be at the game, and I just want to know who i'm going to see.
  17. [ I am not trying to pick a fight with you either so read what I say before asking stupid questions. ] I HAVE PEOPLE SKILLS.
  18. [ There must be a plan we do not know about. ] I think it's called "irony".
  19. [ That is very interesting Mr. Automator. I am just wondering who is consistently getting on at the bottom of the order to give Krynzel the same ammount of RBI's as Fielder in the middle of the lineup. I would imagine Mr. Weeks is sitting on base quite a bit for Fielder. Is it just Weeks driving everyone in before Fielder gets a wack at it? ] Weeks has 35 RBI's compared to Fielder's 24... I think Rickie's extra base hits coupled with Fielder's subpar batting average accounts for it.
  20. Who would have guessed that to this point, the guy with the lowest SLG would have been Fielder?
  21. I'd have to imagine that at this point the Brewers are pretty excited to let Anderson loose to see what he can do. Considering he was in AAA before the whole injury fiasco happened, i'm guessing he's only going to get a little tune-up work before the Brewers try to send him up the chain. Once the Brewers are fed up with a couple of their AAA starters and they feel Parra, Eveland and/or Sarfate are ready to make the jump, Costello will get his next shot at AA... They're not going to let a 25 year old with a sub 1.00 WHIP and 3.6:1 K:BB ratio rot in Brevard County all year.
  22. Is Costello just being bumped back a day or what? If so, what's the big deal?
  23. Please check the minor league forum for minor league signings: p092.ezboard.com/fbrewers...1&stop=140
