  1. Even though he was able to do it. Yes, he gave up the two hits, but he also made the pitched to get out of it without any damage, but the young fellas couldn't handle rather simple plays, and here are these dopes today somehow claiming the manager is to blame for that loss. As always I'd love for the Brewers problems to be that simple. just replace the manager and we'll be good. Just doesn't work that way/
  2. You mean the Cubs scored the winning run without bunting a guy over?? Take notice Ned. Yeah, OK! Almost a relevant comparison. http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/eyes.gif Unless you are suggesting that Ned Yost or any other manager would have had Aramis Ramierez bunt, or that after there was one out, Ned Yost or any other manager would have had Todd Walker or Todd Hollandsworth bunt. Big difference between having Aramis Ramierez up there with nobody out and asking Trent Durrington or JJ Hardy to bunt with nobody out.
  3. Look on the bright side. They get to go against Maddux tomorrow. The Brewers usually do just great against him.
  4. Joke! Second day in a row that a supposed major league player can't get one decent bunt down in three tries. Not that anyone would be able to get a hit anyway, but it would be nice to at least put a little pressure on the pitcher. ARam HR - game over.
  5. Ben's gonna have to step it up here. The Brewers will get to Wood in this one, but if Ben gives up another couple runs, its gonna be too late.
  6. What kind of crap lineup is that? I'm pulling out my hair, I swear to god. Who would you have out there against the lefty taht is going to make the line-up better? Jenkins? Overbay? Fielder? JJ Hardy? With the possible, possible exception of Overbay, I don't see how any of them help.
  7. This has to be the most one-sided pitching matchup in the history of one-sided pitching matchups. Rusch is such a pile of garbage, the Brewers should put up about 10 runs on him in about 3 innings, I figure. Right, because of the Brewers solid track record of just torching left handers. If Sheets is on, the two runs the Brewers score might give them a chance.
  8. I am not one to make quick judgements, but you can put me in the fire Yost coulum. This team plays like crap. It isn't his fault they can't hit very well, but he is all talk and no action. He went on and on this spring about how its time to produce and playing hard isn't enough. Apparently the players took that to mean they don't have to play hard at all (or at least play smart). Their defense is awful, they run themselves out of innings while teams run wild on them, he clearly left Sheets in about 3-4 hitters too long tonight, he actually chooses to put Phelps into games, Sheets has 3 errors already, jenkins bobbled two consecutive balls in right. This team looks worse than last year. Not only are they losing, but they look just terrible doing it. People usually lose interest in the Brewers around here when Packer's training camp starts. It looks like this year they will accomplish that feat by draft day.
