  1. I'm glad you said forced or I was really going to start wondering about you, danzig
  2. Trying to distract myself from the misery of this game and make sense of what we're seeing... take the Cubs top 10 batters versus Brewers top 10 for plate appearances and for OPS there's not that much difference... .832 vs .777 or .055 points. But when you like at batting eye (K/BB), they're .111 points better, .657 vs .546. We swing at bad pitches. They don't
  3. Is anyone changing up there "game" to get us off with a Sveum win? I'm going with no TV volume tonight. No Ned, no BA, no BS
  4. That being the case, I fully expect Bernie to be waving a WOAH SOLVDD flag when he comes down the slide.
  5. > I also expect after the season both Skaalen and Maddux will be looking for work. I reckon we'll all be looking for work when we're 65 if the market keeps tanking. I blame freakin Ned! We've been Yosted again
  6. Well, I'm happier than a gopher in soft dirt, but the market is down 4% on the news of Yosts demise. Strange how things work out.
  7. This team has too much talent to have been Yosted away like it has. I know he's not fully responsible by a long shot for the traveshamockery that has become September 08, but this is a step in the right direction. Props to Brewers Management for making the move. Now lets salvage this season before it's gone.
  8. > Sporting events in Milwaukee are more of an excuse to get drunk, get belligerent, and be completely obnoxious than anywhere else I've ever been. Me and my drinking cat take exception to that comment
  9. You'd think with the doubleheader tomorrow that it would be even more of a reason to rest him
  10. > Not to be flippant, but if home-crowd booing was a deal-breaker, the only place that a major-leaguer could play might be Toronto, or maybe the Marlins. Yeah, really, I'm not a big one for booing but I can't blame the fans for being disgusted with this team these days. I know I'm sick of it. And you know Ned is going to get on their back, so someone has to.
  11. > incessant "fan" booing on the last homestand Cmon, jhgill, that's not the reason we can't resign CC. >Additionally, if you have a choice, do YOU want to play for a team where you get booed by your fans when you make a mistake? Every team in the Majors would get the treatment the Brewers have been getting when you play the way they have lately. You seem to have the same mindset as Vince Young. J.J... booooooooo
  12. He said the old MIL logo is the best in baseball. Dude can't be all that bad
  13. 2 for 17 RISP for MIL in the series... nothing new there
  14. I hope you're right... well, there's the Prince. Welcome back
  15. OK, nice hit by Escobar. That's all I've got
  16. Is there anyway to turn all of my text blue as a default? It's hard not to want to write something sarcastic all of the time about this team right now. It's the only way to cope
  17. Nice one, TeeJayh1980. Thanks for the laugh
  18. What's wrong with the Philly fans? They don't stand and cheer for the last out?
  19. This team is getting very hard to watch.
  20. Good Grief http://systemofsystems.files.wordpress.com/2008/03/good-grief-charlie-brown1.jpg
  21. Man, I second that. Crew's gonna win, Cubs are gonna lose, cool Fall temps and breezes. Got #4 on the POP with a whole new NFL season coming and the Crew is going to the post season. Life is good. Cheers!
