  1. and Ohka STILL hasn't given up a HR today...I guess that isn't his fault, just that the sun seems to be shining brightly down on Ohka today
  2. The Brewers win 2 in a row on the road, Ohka gets an early lead, Ohka hasn't given up a HR yet (Officially anyway), did I get warped to Bizzaro World in my sleep?
  3. The era of Will Inman has started with a 2.0 inning, 0 run 1 k, 1 bb line in AZ. This guy needs a nickname. "The Man" seems too obvious. I was thinking Lenny Bruce. (Author of "How To Talk Dirty And Influence People")
  4. we didn't make that one easy, but, hey, if that is the only way we can win a road game, I'll take it...and we're in trouble.......and I need better health coverage
  5. that should have been a game ending double play
  6. game of inches...the worm has turned
  7. Now for the most challenging skill in the Baseball arsenal...the bunt (at least for the Brewers)
  8. Wow the Florida Marlins are baseball Geniouses I am even more dumfounded than when Mota went up ther to hit in th first place. Alzheimers is a bad traight for a manager to have.
  9. We have Branyon for a double switch. Overbay can come in now. Especially since it appears as though Sheets could go 8 tonight
  10. Obviously you have to bring in the Righty to face Sheets. Law of averages state that he has got to get a hit Sometime. Better not take any chances. For real, though, I think that move was totally pitch count related. Olson is just a kid, and I think his count was as strict as a pitch count can get.
  11. Marlins only have 1 lefty in the pen, (and a familiar one at that) so it's time to pull Helms for Overbay.
  12. I thought Helms was good against lefties, is a sombrero in store for Helms?
  13. Maybe Bennie is feeling better today, he seems to have a swagger. He is maaking me a little nervous, though. He is gettling an awful lot of the plate. Granted, it is at 96.
  14. Wow, that is the most exited I have gotten about a fielder's choice that did not score a run. Rickie crushes it, Lowell is merely protecting his own life to come up with it, and then Rickie is fast enough to beat out the turn.
  15. Side note, Hardy has started the last 5 at SS, and he is 5-19 with 3 doubles. It's not All Star material, but it is an indication that playing every day does make a difference for the kids.
  16. Wow, even in slow motion, Weeks' bat looks like a blur
  17. Message to Doug Melvin: There is still time to call up Hart, if you get on the phone soon. He still has time to make it to Milwaukee so that we don't have to watch McGruder play in right.
  18. Sorry, just got a little nervous. Large volumes of posts on his signing, then nothing with no new info for days. just panicked a little.
  19. Brian, What's the word on this one? Signed one day, and now, he's not. Do you have any more info, or are you going to leave us all hanging?
  20. We've got to have a better option as a 4th outfielder. If Lee has to miss any time, I may have to find something else to do this weekend. I'm not sure I could watch that offense. As soon as he came out, our whole offense went away.
  21. And with Helena soon to be the first professional baseball program ever to finish undefeated for an entire season, We will easily make it back to .500
  22. ja002h, I'm glad you got my reply and read the article. It's hard to believe it is for real it's so good
