  1. I'm in the chain of custody camp. The evidence was outside of the mutually agreed upon chain of control, it is rubbish. That said, I wonder what ambiet conditions in a residential refrigerator could mess with a urine sample. I had some lost Indian food go bad and foul my BRITA filter.
  2. Not TOTALLY related, but if you have a Marshall's near you they have been clearing out some of last season's merch. My wife got me the jacket listed at $125 on the website for $40.
  3. I'll miss the 900 pages of spreadsheets; especially when he bunts.
  4. The fact that Randy Bernard put 33 cars on a 1.5 mile track and got Dan Wheldon killed.
  5. Before a WS game in 82 against the Cards, I whacked my head falling into a bathtub. I went to the game with my dad with a lump on my head. I am headed out in a few with my dad again. I just went down to my shop and whacked myself with a rubber mallet for luck. Go Brewers. It was a gentle whack, I assure you. No knot, just for luck.
  6. Must be a heck of a commute if you can down the sixer on the way home. Let's get this game and clinch on Sunday.
  7. Like Red Soxs pitchers, I will be drinking beer during the game tonight.
  8. So this is what being excited, happy and terrified at the same time feels like.

  10. The Cardinals are so sneaky, now they are shooting squirrels across home plate. At least we are subtle enough just to mess with the light boards.
  11. Unless you are a painter you should not have enough plastic wrap to cover your living room. Otherwise you might be Dexter http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/smile.gif Go Brewers, 1-0 for October 4.
  12. Is it just me or does Sabathia look much heftier recently?
  13. As for my thoughts on prices, it's the playoffs. They charged what they thought the market would bear. Seeing as the lots were jammed up both games they must have set the right price point, and are probably thinking they could have gone a bit higher. I haven't crunched through the legalese and I am not sure exactly how the lots are titled, but I'll chip in my best legal guess. I believe the lots are held in a trust that the Stadium District runs, like allowing them to contract with MPD or MCSD for extra security on premises. The parking pass give you a license to be on the grounds, subject to the posted rules. The rules are observed more with large crowds, too much liability. 2.5 hours after the game somebody cracks their head or gets in a brawl they don't want the tort lawyers sniffing around. Besides, you really want to hang outside and drink, well, you don't have to go home but you can't stay here. Think of the 1 hour rule like paying a quarter for a cart at Aldi. they are keeping the costs low.
  14. Showed up at 315. The parking pass got us into the Miller lot but it was almost full. Jovial crown, almost like a college tailgate. Hustled into the stadium and took out seats. The atmosphere was great and the roof about came off when Robin came out. During the sixth it was the loudest I have heard Miller, ever. I give myself the line of the night in our section when they IBBed Kotsay; "I don't believe what Kirk Gibson is doing!" See ya Tuesday.
  15. I'm happy Whacking Day caught on. Let's make this Whacking Day #2, especially since I will be there.
