    Fischer is not the kind of guy you give an extension to. Plenty to be excited about with his power profile, but there's also certain risk that he doesn't make enough contact as he moves up levels. And unlike our other extensions, there's no floor of defense and speed to fall back on. I would be surprised if we gave one to him at this point in time.

    LH reliever is still the #1 need for this team. The Zerpa injury continues to hurt us.

    I'm guessing they'll get at least decent savings here. Brady got 93% of the bonus at 32 last year, but he was higher in the collective rankings than Trey is this year. My guess is Trey gets 85% of the bonus, which would put him around $3.1 million. So that would be about a $500-600K savings.

    If you can't trust Pratt to ever take a swing with RISP, just pull him and hit someone else. The managing lately has been awful.

    The team is practically screaming that major changes are needed. Lot of lucky results the past two weeks have masked how rough things have gotten.
