  1. oh, joey i'm not angry anymore such a great song and if he's hurtin' so am I....go crew!!!
  2. the queens hourly forecast didn't look promising, but the radar I looked at showed everything staying to the north mets fans aren't happy with what this does to their rotation heading into the Yankees series this weekend
  3. looks like the best gap in the weather is between 9 and 11pm. so Freddy should be good for 4 innings
  4. yuck. that doesn't sound good. I don't remember him reacting in game to anything. is it something that develops over time and becomes unbearable? I don't know why but a rib injury reminds me of deer hunting lol
  5. 13-11 we'll perform decent against the better teams but have a stinker of a series against Miami or washington
  6. I was clearly referencing only this year, hence he's not the future. just weird if they're going to start seigler suddenly with the intent of hoping William heals up. could've been done weeks ago. other than obp they have very similar numbers
  7. I say that realizing hasse isn't and never was the "future". just frustrated that he seems to play pretty well when given a chance and we should've done something about william's injury a long time ago
  8. hasse has barely been given a chance. we're already ready to move on from him? doesn't it feel like the few times a month Eric catches the pitcher does pretty good?
  9. rewatched 'welcome to the dollhouse' for the first time in a decade. one of the best dark comedies ever. I feel like it's set in the same fictional universe as 90s nickelodeon show 'pete and pete' lol
  10. red rocket-male pornstar returns to his hometown in Texas and gradually exposes himself more and more as a narcissist. great performances. very funny sinners- slow build vampire movie. little on the nose but the ending was fun Nosferatu-thought the first hours was fantastic. not as good as the Werner herzog/Klaus kinski version from the 70s a real pain-cathartic emotional movie. Jessie eisenberg perfectly cast. kieran culken is fantastic
  11. I noticed this morning someone posted an interview with curt schilling and he talks about misiorowski for like half the interview. he was immediately attacked and a few hours later i noticed the post was gone. assuming the resident nose ring purple hair moderator permabanned the guy what a fun place! lol
  12. maybe it was sarcasm related to earlier in the thread or something. i'm in full support of posts like that lol
  13. old guy question..... is reddit just all people watching baseball for the first year ever? good lord reading the end of the game thread there upset my stomach
  14. anyone able to track our ops numbers over segments of the season? I just saw almost an entire lineup in the 700's where as I swear about a month ago we were trotting out like 2 to 4 a day
  15. i'm only in the 5th, worked late i was going to post immediately after the Ortiz play at home that that was my favorite play of the year. then jackson's at bat made it my favorite inning in a long long time gotta love a June weeknight game making your cheer out loud
  16. shortstop. I say that without knowing the defensive drop off though durbin has had enough frelich like impact on the game that I would like to see more from him
  17. lol that' how I felt this afternoon but now I just finished grilling up burgers brats and hot dogs while watching the sun set over the Mississippi and I feel a bit better friggin' baseball.......
  18. this team needs more guys like Patrick firing up the crowd while walking to the dugout Friday night. just my opinion, but I feel like I witness them tighten up as a team in real time. probably knowing they lack a bit of talent
  19. and my high school coach told me if I were six-two instead of five-ten I coulda played d1 football lol
  20. Pulling Rhys for a PR in the 6th inning knowing he'll come up again for a far inferior bat is not a "50/50 shot".
