The box score for Wilson breaks my brain: 14 runs, but only 8 hits. 13 walks, but 13 Ks. 13 RBIs, but only 2 XBHs. 😵💫 That's just baseball sometimes lol

Tue. 6/2: Hey Look, Just One Scoreboard Link Needed!

I tend to trust the organization when it comes to catchers. They turned Yasmani Grandal and Omar Narvaez into good defensive catchers. I got high hopes for Dinges. Plus, OF is overly saturated with talent up and down the system. Dinges moving to Corner OF doesnt seem like the right move when you consider org depth and his skillset. He's got all the physical tools and now it just takes refining them.

With pretty much all the OFs struggling in Low A minus Ibarguen, you wonder how much longer they're gonna keep Frias in the ACL. Also, this Timber Rattlers pitching staff is starting to get concerning... they have the highest team ERA and WHIP in the midwest league and its not even close... 👀

The amount of emerging power with already great speed is incredible to see. I never would've expected some of these guys to have this many HRs in an entire season, let alone the first month.... and even some of the slow-power guys like burke getting steals regularly shows how savvy can be just as crucial to baserunning as speed. A lot of the top prospects are looking real good to start the season.

Yep, Dorchies is only 19 in high A and Letson, 21 in AA. Pitchers require more seasoning than position players. Even the best pitching prospects usually don't come up to the majors until at least 23 at the earliest.

Not doubting that, especially seeing how Wilson is even further from Raleigh than Zebulon. Just total population + distance from major city = not many people wanna travel that far to watch an affiliate of an out-of-state team (I doubt there are many Brewers fans in the area). That being said, I would imagine a stacked roster of big offensive players would draw more of a crowd than one that's batting .161 as a team. Hell, if you put the Timber rattlers roster on Beloit, i'd even go down there to watch and i dont even care about the marlins 😂

They really could've used that mudcat's roster from last year. Definitely would've brought in some fans.

Early in the season, but shout out to Marco Dinges; hitting .300+ and OPS above 1.000.- 2 replies

Curious to see how long Pena stays in High A (hoping to see 1 more T-Rats game before he leaves), he seems to have figured it out after a rough sampling last year. Also interesting to see if Lara gets a shot at MLB this season if his hot offense keeps going in AAA. Could the brewers afford to keep someone like that off the 40-man if there's ever an opening? 🤔
