  1. I think we might be a little spoiled here 😂 T Rats lineup is missing a few injured players and a lot of promotions this year. Healthy, its still a damn good one.
  2. I think more importantly, his contact rate is at 77.1% which is still below average, but decent for his profile. The 69% at A+ was very concerning, but if he stays where he is, 31% K rate isn't looking so horrible.
  3. We saw people on the forums and X saying it all offseason lol if they dont think that, they certainly post it for whatever reason.
  4. Adames, Contreras, and even Hoskins dont have as poor a K% or Contact rate as Fischer does and that's against MLB pitching.... So no, they dont care about HRs enough to eat what will be even worse stats in MLB with Fischer.
  5. Realistically, does this team strike you as one that cares that much about HRs that they'd be willing to accept poor K%s and contact rates? I guarantee you Fischer will not see his OBP increase in MLB if you threw him into the fire right now. There's a much better chance of his whiff and K rate skyrocketing than his HR rate being remotely close to what it is right now in AA.
  6. I've seen this argument before, it was only 16 WBC PA and his best games were against AA pitchers (he wasnt the only prospect that played in the WBC). Not diminishing his success, but that's not equivalent to MLB experience. And it would be extremely bad to bring up a young player only for him to get smoked by MLB pitching, demolishing his confidence. Trust in the Brewers to make the right decision when it comes to bringing up players.
  7. It truly amazes me how people think players can just go from even high A to MLB and have the same success they had in the minors. Like a guy has 28 HRs between A+ & AA so that means he'll get 28 HRs in MLB as a plug n play. 😂
  8. Why don't they just close the roof? 🤭 Seriously though, that field needs one
  9. The box score for Wilson breaks my brain: 14 runs, but only 8 hits. 13 walks, but 13 Ks. 13 RBIs, but only 2 XBHs. 😵‍💫 That's just baseball sometimes lol
  10. I tend to trust the organization when it comes to catchers. They turned Yasmani Grandal and Omar Narvaez into good defensive catchers. I got high hopes for Dinges. Plus, OF is overly saturated with talent up and down the system. Dinges moving to Corner OF doesnt seem like the right move when you consider org depth and his skillset. He's got all the physical tools and now it just takes refining them.
  11. With pretty much all the OFs struggling in Low A minus Ibarguen, you wonder how much longer they're gonna keep Frias in the ACL. Also, this Timber Rattlers pitching staff is starting to get concerning... they have the highest team ERA and WHIP in the midwest league and its not even close... 👀
  12. So Luis Lara... 👀 What neuron was activated this offseason for +power? 😂
  13. This T-Rats pitching is really suspect... worst ERA in the midwest league 👀 hope its just growing pains
  14. The amount of emerging power with already great speed is incredible to see. I never would've expected some of these guys to have this many HRs in an entire season, let alone the first month.... and even some of the slow-power guys like burke getting steals regularly shows how savvy can be just as crucial to baserunning as speed. A lot of the top prospects are looking real good to start the season.
  15. Who gave him permission to rake? Game must've really slowed down for him. 16 games in and it's feeling less and less like a hot streak...
  16. Yep, Dorchies is only 19 in high A and Letson, 21 in AA. Pitchers require more seasoning than position players. Even the best pitching prospects usually don't come up to the majors until at least 23 at the earliest.
  17. Not doubting that, especially seeing how Wilson is even further from Raleigh than Zebulon. Just total population + distance from major city = not many people wanna travel that far to watch an affiliate of an out-of-state team (I doubt there are many Brewers fans in the area). That being said, I would imagine a stacked roster of big offensive players would draw more of a crowd than one that's batting .161 as a team. Hell, if you put the Timber rattlers roster on Beloit, i'd even go down there to watch and i dont even care about the marlins 😂
  18. They really could've used that mudcat's roster from last year. Definitely would've brought in some fans.
  19. Early in the season, but shout out to Marco Dinges; hitting .300+ and OPS above 1.000.
  20. I honestly like the T-Rats free jerseys (I went to the frelick giveaway earlier this month), the text is actually printed on as opposed to pressed on. Lasts a lot longer.
  21. Curious to see how long Pena stays in High A (hoping to see 1 more T-Rats game before he leaves), he seems to have figured it out after a rough sampling last year. Also interesting to see if Lara gets a shot at MLB this season if his hot offense keeps going in AAA. Could the brewers afford to keep someone like that off the 40-man if there's ever an opening? 🤔
  22. what's worse is the poor quality. I miss being able to buy stitched jerseys. Now we got iron-ons that deteriorate after a couple wash cycles or peel. Gotta get knockoffs nowadays for a more authentic jersey feel. The new era hats are pretty nice quality though. Still pricey imo.
  23. Who gave Luis Lara permission to rake?!? Only 5 games, I know, but if he found a way to have even an average hit tool you could be seeing a potential all-star ceiling.
  24. I can certainly see why they are high on him. On top of what was stated, he's a 6'3" SS with elite defense. He has the physical stature of a Yelich, Ohtani, etc. It gives him such a high ceiling if that bat comes around. Dude's still only 21.
