Debating whether it was Ortiz's fault for the bad throw or Hamilton would have made that throw, shouldn't Bauers have scooped that throw up? The throw wasn't wide to Bauers. Pretty much like a ball hit to Bauers from the batter. He is a first baseman by trade. Prince could scoop those throws up, not all the time of course. One other question, it has nothing to do with the throw to first. I forget who the runner was for Tampa, I know that base running isn't reviewable. But the runner going from second to third, Hamilton tried to tag him and missed. What umpire should have caught that the runner was out of the baseline?

That is all true. But what the Brewers need is for Bauers and Turang's bat to get going. Bauers has no RBI's and Turang has two. No clutch hits from Bauers at all. The Brewers left 8 men on base Tuesday night.

Is this a bribe to sign with the Brewers next year if he is healthy? He does deserve the chance to pitch in the WS. He has been with the team the longest. Go Woodruff.

In the 2027 roster, what happened to Jake Bauers? Gasser has to show that he can do the job. Not this one good start and then a bad start. But then it is early, to talk about 2027.

If the Brewers bring up Williams and they play him at third base, release Rengifo. He has no home runs and his defense is just ok. Hamilton has excellent speed but of course he has to get on base. As they say you can't steal first base. Bring Williams up.

I like Ortiz's defense. His bat is something else. He comes up to the plate with bases loaded and can't walk or take one for the team. His bat is bad. Can he even hit above the Mendoza line? When Chourio and Vaughn come back maybe they can hide his bat in the line up?

Is it too late to sign Turang to a long term deal? I sure hope not.

Do not trade Peralta. All teams are looking for starting pitchers. Why trade the ace of the staff, even if you have Peralta for one more year? Keep Peralta for the one year and get the extra draft choice. Peralta was eleven games over .500 in 2024. What trade is going to compensate that margin? Stick with Peralta.

Freddy Peralta is ranked in the top 10 and yet everyone is so eager to trade him. Instead of thinking of teams to trade him to, the Brewers need to find a way to sign him. He is only 30 with at least 5 years of good pitching in him. Brewers need to sign him and not trade him. If the Brewers can't sign him, then they can't play with the big teams.

Do not trade Peralta. Brewers need a veteran starting pitcher in their rotation, if they want to compete again. Peralta is the answer. He is their #1 starting pitcher in their rotation. It would be very difficult to replace a 17-6 record and more that 200 strikeouts. Keep Peralta.

Trading Collins was not a high price to pay. They needed to clear left field so Chourio could play there. Chourio is not the best player to play center field. Either Mitchell if healthy or Perkins is a better center fielder. As they say you have to give up something to get something back. The bullpen was burned out at the end of the season, so acquiring another bullpen arm is not a bad idea.
