  1. The only concern I really have is pitching depth. Presently I think I feel good about 6 Brewers pitchers being reliable postseason arms (Peralta, Priester, Patrick, Ashby, Koenig, Uribe). I’d feel much better if that list bumped up to 9 with pitchers like Gasser and Misiorowski stepping up or pitchers like Megill, Henderson, Hall, Woodruff (long shot) returning from injury.
  2. If that doesn’t happen, Misiorowski quickly turning into a reliable RP would also suffice.
  3. I do think it puts Woodruff getting a QO in jeopardy. That will be an interesting decision in the offseason.
  4. Any chance any of the good prospects in Biloxi head up to Nashville for the final 3 games of the AAA season?
  5. I don’t think Hoskins makes the playoff roster. We saw Perkins hit in two leverage AB against RHP with Hoskins available on the bench the other day. If he was in the playoff plans, I think you’d see him getting more reps right now.
  6. Brewers changed up their rotation order to look like this - Peralta, Woodruff, Priester, Misiorowski, Quintana. I feel like that was to get their playoff rotation set up and Priester will be the third SP for Milwaukee.
  7. My question is with 18 games left in the season why would that be a big deal? Payamps is going to be non-tendered in the offseason if he stays on the 40 the rest of the year. Is it a big deal if he rejects the outright assignment after clearing waivers and decides to just go home and not report to Nashville?
  8. Wow I feel bad for Yoho. Best inning of his career and he gets optioned the next day while Joel Payamps stinks it up twice in a week and stays up.
  9. I saw this as well. It’s a really well done video.
  10. Yoho looked very good today folks. Jack wrote an article about him shifting where he stands on the rubber to help his command and boy it looked good today. Looks like a potential postseason option to me if he keeps it up.
  11. Feel like that's karma for Pages trying to play the Holliday HR off the wall instead of trying to rob it while 1 out from a no hitter.
  12. Smooth Brewers win tonight. Was hoping to see Yoho in the 9th or 7th. I think it's time for Murphy to ease up on usage of the leverage guys with the lead to 6.5 games with 19 to go.
  13. Hard to think where the Brewers would be without the Priester trade. Looking like another great trade from Matt Arnold.
  14. I feel like the Brewers fought hard and very easily could have won this game today despite starting a Sunday lineup against a full strength second best team in MLB starting their second best SP.
  15. Great bullpen management by Murphy tonight to flip Uribe and Koenig to keep the Phillies from getting to pinch hit their typical starters in the 9th and have a left on left matchup if the big sluggers got to the plate.
  16. 14-10 so 13-9 not counting the two games that have already happened.
