    That's unfortunate. really. I don't understand your logic at all. Four teams trying to win a division is just as comparable to 6 teams. Ah..... why is my choice of problems with baseball unfortunate?

    I agree 100% with this poster. It is completely unfair for a division to have 6 team competition when another has only 4. This problem should be fixed immediately. I am still confused how MLB ever got into this situation. IE how the teams in the central or even the NL agreed to play against more competition. This is probably my number one issue with baseball right now. It may be wrong, but I would sooner remedy this issue than the steroid problem. 2nd on my list of grievances. The value of the all star game. Why in the world would you determine home field advantage of the most important series by one irrelevant game....Well maybe this is number 1, but i digress.

    i just heard frank thomas say "it means a lot to me because i did it the right way". An obvious and direct reference at other steriod users and their accomplishments. While people no doubt lie and he had plenty of time to plan his speech, it sounded sincere and real. I believe he has been clean, if for no other reason than that he didn't need them. He was always strong and hit right away. congrats to him, i am glad he hung around to get it.

    if brewers play .500 ball the rest of the way winning 42 games and finish at 88-74 the cubs will need to win 50 of 85 games to tie.

    Heck who wouldn't prefer a Coshun/Nelson booth to an Anderson/Schroeder one? I would go insane. Count how many times Coshun says UM.

    BA has been pretty good this year. He is starting to grow on me and actually makes me laugh once in a while. One major problem i have with him: When you make a mistake, admit it and correct it. He screws up and leaves it out there, like a giant motza ball -(excuse the spelling and seinfeld reference). Also you are announcer, so when you say "some kind of" tell me what. Bills grill is to Bill Schroeder as Tator Tots is to Brian Anderson

    Turnbow was booed off the Miller Park mound after losing the lead in the eighth inning and Spurling walked home the go-ahead run in the 11th. I hate it when we boo our home players. It was a one run game.

    ty baldkin, i can use it for risp, but i didn't see the count options. ESPN has it for individual players, but i don't see it for teams.

    i am just shocked we can't score with tGj and craiger with a man on third and one out. I would be willing to bet that we get that run in at least 25 percent of the time.
