    You hit the nail on the head with the 2026 Brewers! The depth offensively is remarkable. There are ZERO auto-outs in that lineup... not even David Hamilton. Who will be the X-factor and come up with the big hit in a pivotal moment? Lots of candidates.

    Agree on almost all points. This is a painful setback for him but that will make him better next year. I like the Miz, Henderson, May order (though May's last start or two may impact that), and wonder whether Gasser gets the fourth start or if he is the bulk guy behind an opener. He has really impressed me the last couple of months, and will be a key part of the staff this postseason.

    Naylor, Romero and Ortiz. I know you only get two, but I have no idea if Joey is still on the roster. Someone should ask Murph. Better production against both lefties AND righties and an elite defender, but damn Hamilton can bunt!

    Agreed on Bauers. It is refreshing to see an outspoken leader who is also backing his talk with his walk right now. His growth has really been a marvel this year, and a big reason why the Crew is still near the top of the league.

    Okay... his 2025 film then. After looking at his splits this year, I have the perfect formula. Yelich plays: Day games, against righties, at AM Fam, and is immediately pinch-hit for when he goes 0-2 or 1-2 in the count. 🤣

    I haven't heard that saying in a decade and I love it! Also... it is true, and even if they succeed in St. Louis you hope the guys you kept are still better.

    Great callback. And I would say, yes, 7th... if at all. Clearly, he is not getting through this on his own... he is just spiraling. Time off, work with the coaches, sit down and watch every home run of your 2018 season to remember who you are, and come back ready to contribute.

    I don't write Yelich off entirely, but he needs a break. He is one year removed from his best and healthiest season in 6 years. I think the hard part is that this team is sooo short on power. When right, Yelich can at least provide some pop. Nobody we play more in Yelich's stead can really do that.

    First time writer, long-time reader. Hopefully my comments won't be as annoying as my screen name. In regard to Yelich, the guy is absolutely lost at the plate right now, and by now I mean most of the season. I truly like the guy and understand he is a clubhouse leader, but leaders become less effective when they stop producing. Any chance of an IL stint for a back spasm? Get Lara some more playing time? Is a callup of someone like Adams (I know he would be a 40 man add) to see if his power can translate a possibility in that spot?
