  1. Any idea when the first game would be?
  2. Do you have a check engine light on? Does the idle rev up and down at all or is it just really low? What size engine? It could be a throttle position sensor but it's hard to give you anything more than a guess.
  3. All bobbleheads can be picked up locally if you live in the Milwaukee area. I can ship them too if needed. All bobblehads come with their boxes and original packaging. All bobbleheads are SGAs. Brewers: Krynzel - Beloit Snappers $10 04 Bill and Daron $10 04 Gantner - white $10 06 Turnbow - white $5 06 Yount - coach $10 07 Fielder - white $5 07 Capuano - retro $15 07 Molitor mini - white $5 07 Money mini - white $5 07 Gantner mini - white $5 07 Caldwell mini - white $5 07 Thomas mini - white $5 07 Cooper mini - white $5 07 Sutton mini - white $5 07 Moore mini - white $10 07 Vuckovich mini - white $5 Other Teams: Dwayne Wade - Marquette $15 Steve Novak - Marquette $5 Travis Diener - Marquette $5 03 Fred McGriff - Dodgers $5 Pirats Logoman 60s-80s $5 03 Phil Niekro - Braves $5 Michael Redd - Bucks $5 -- 57 point game bobblehead. I think it was given out in 07. 05 Jason Bay - Pirates All-Star $5
  4. This bobblehead was sold at Miler Park sometimes in a package with 2 other bobbleheads. It is exactly the same except for the logo on the base. They generally sell for about the same price. Most people don't seem to care about the difference.
  5. For those of you that have used Windows 7, would you recommend upgrading from Vista? I can upgrade for free if I want but don't know if it's worth the hassle for the same crappy operating system.
  6. I should also add that I have used it on an 8x10 before. I had to remove that glue like stuff that is left behind after removing a sticker. It didn't harm the photo at all. Just make sure to keep it away from the signature because it will take that off too.
  7. Goo Gone works great. You can buy it at Walmart, Target, K-Mart, most hardware stores, ect. It should be about $2-$3. Put a very small amount on a paper towel and it should come right off. I bought a bottle a couple years ago and use it a lot to take off stuff like this and pen or sharpie marks.
  8. I just had my credit limit lowered to $500 on this card today. Now I'm really ticked off. I think I'm going to call a supervisor tomorrow and see what they can do. I also didn't know that I should be using my cards every 6 months. Thanks for the advice. I got a credit report this summer. I like to check in on it at least once or twice a year because I had a credit card company do this same thing to me about 4 years ago and I didn't handle it very well which is also why I'm asking for advice on the best way to handle this now. The previous time though, they for some reason gave me a 20k limit on a Chase card and out of the blue dropped it to $500 without warning. I had a little over $500 on the card, I was hit with huge fees, random fines and with interest suddenly my $500 turned into about $1,500 and since I couldn't pay that off in a month it ended up just over $2,000 when all was said and done. I just don't want to go through that again. Chase ended up canceling my card even though I never had a late payment until that last month. I almost feel like canceling all my cards at this point. When I read Craig's comments this morning I completely disagreed, since I just wanted it to build a credit history, but if this can happen at any time maybe it's not worth dealing with. Are there credit card companies out there that are less likely to do this stuff or is it all of them? I've clearly had terrible luck with Chase and American Express.
  9. I pay my card off every month and typically don't use it for anything other than gas. I could just as easily pay cash for that, but I figured this would help my credit score. American Express specifically said in a letter that the interest was going up because of the returned check. If I close the card before the balance is paid off, won't that hurt my credit score? I am definitely paying off the rest of the balance and not using the card again regardless. I just don't know if it's wise to close it for good.
  10. For me it depends on the item. I have a box of old starting lineups that include a few that were worth something at one time that I don't open just because I feel bad opening something that has been in the package since the 80s or early 90s. Plus who knows, maybe they will go back up in value some day. I don't even like owning them anymore though since they just sit in a box but at the same time I like the players enough that I can't sell them. Otherwise, I don't buy stuff with the intent to never open them. I have one McFarlane figure and I opened it and I have a few starting lineups from the early 2000s that I opened. I just don't feel like starting lineups will be worth what they were in the 90s. I also don't expect McFarlane figures to ever be worth much either. I would also assume there are far more people that are keeping their collectible figures like these in the package with the hopes that they will be worth something some day and back in the 80s/90s almost everyone opened them.
  11. I have had an American Express credit card for about 2.5 - 3 years. I have never made a payment late and usually pay off the balance the following month. My credit limit was up to $6,000 at one point, but I put a semester of tuition on it for two weeks or so and the next month they dropped my limit down to $2,000. They said my debt-credit ratio was too high. As of right now, my limit is still currently at $2,000. My first question is why they allow me to have a credit limit that high if they are going to allow me to use it all? Were they just trying to screw me over? A couple days ago, I got a letter in the mail from American Express and they said they were going to raise my APR to 28.24%. I don't remember what it was prior to that, but I think it was somewhere around 11%. The reason for this is that they had a check returned. The check I wrote them was returned because my bank locked my account because someone bounced a $3,600 check on me. The person who wrote the check added sufficient funds a couple hours after I cashed the check according to the person I talked to on the phone. She wouldn't tell me that directly, but her exact words were, "The check was ISF when the check was cashed, and a couple hours later the account had the money available. Use your imagination to figure out what happened." They however didn't correct this error for ten days when it could have been taken care of in one day, and all of my money in the account was locked, not just the $3,600 that the check was for. I was not aware of the fact that my account was locked in the first place or that they locked all my money. I also called them about a dozen times trying to get this figured out once I did realize my account was locked, but it seemed like nobody knew why it was locked, and they just kept giving me different numbers to call. There was also two times where they told me the account would be unlocked the following day and didn't happen. I got a call from someone from American Express sometime during this 10 day period when my account was locked and they notified me that my check did not clear. I resubmitted the payment and they told me that it would go through before the payment due date and that there would be no penalty for this. As you can see I ended up getting my interest rate bumped up, and they also gave me a pretty big fine. Is there anything I can do about this? I plan on paying the card off and will never use this card again because of the outrageous interest rate. Would it be a bad idea to close the account? I know it will initially hurt my credit score, but will it hurt it long term? I have another card with a $1,500 limit and another with $500 that I don't use. My biggest concern is that I don't hurt my credit score, but they do give me a periodic finance charge if I don't use the card. Am I just going to have to suck it up charge gas to it once in a while to avoid the periodic charge? As for my bank (Guaranty Bank), Is it normal for a bank to lock an account when I was the one receiving the bad check? I can understand them freezing the $3,600, but not the whole account. Plus like I said before, it took them ten days to fix something that should have been done in one. Is there anything I can do to recoup some of these fines I racked up? I had to pay fines for three different returned checks in addition to the interest rate being increased on the AE card plus it was pretty embarrassing having checks returned or my debit card denied at a store. I wrote the checks prior to depositing the check that was ISF and I had sufficient funds in the account to cover the amounts otherwise. My main concern is what I should do with the credit card. Any advice would be appreciated.
  12. I might owe someone a couple dollars. I think someone ended up paying $24 per jersey instead of $23, and I said that would get refunded, however with all the re-ordering of jerseys I completely forgot who that was. If I still owe anyone anyone a refund let me know. Has everyone received their jerseys?
  13. Wow, you're pretty good for never playing before. How much practice did you have for this?
  14. That is a hybrid bat. The barrel is aluminum and the handle is composite. I would not use that in a cage.
  15. Aluminum bats last a long time so I doubt using it in the cages is much of an issue. Aluminum bats lose their "pop" over time regardless of where you use it, but the cage balls are probably slightly harder on them. If your son is real young it probably isn't an issue at all to use the bat in the cages. He will probably outgrow the bat before it loses any of its pop. Plus he probably won't be swinging at high speed pitches. If it's possible to find a bat that is the same in length and weight to use in the cages then I'd recommend doing that but it's probably not that big of a deal. If you were buying a composite bat then definitely don't use it in a cage. They don't last as long.
  16. I mailed jerseys out this morning to InsomniakInkRoss, jrodbrewcrew, and akula. You should be getting them in 2-3 days. I believe everyone else has received their jerseys or has plans to pick them up this weekend. Thanks to everyone for being patient. It took us about 2 months to get all of our jerseys, but at least they look pretty good. Hopefully things go smoother with the next site.
  17. Jerseys are in! I won't be home until tomorrow, but I'll try to ship them out tomorrow afternoon. If not they will be shipped out Thursday morning. Also, if you need to meet up with me I'll send a PM and we can try to figure out a time that works.
  18. I checked the tracking number, and the jerseys have made it to the US yesterday. It doesn't say where exactly they are, but sounds like we should get them in a day or two. Last time when they got lost they didn't make it out of China, so this looks like good news.
  19. Still no jerseys and no response from nfljerseysupply. If I don't get them by Tuesday or here back from them by then ill try calling if they have a number posted.
  20. Nelson Bros. Power Center is the place on Lisbon. It's on the corner of Lisbon and Marcy in Menomonee Falls. It's a good little place to go for a cheap snowblower or lawnmower ect. or repairs.
  21. No, they haven't arrived yet. I e-mailed nfljerseysupply to see what is going on. I didn't get any mail at all yesterday which was probably due to the snow storm, so it could still be on it's way. Shipping is supposed to take 5-10 days so it's still possible it could come early next week and it would still be in that time range. Hopefully they come soon, because I really just want to get this over with. I'll keep everyone updated.
  22. The jerseys were still in Shanghai China as of Dec. 4th, so if everything goes right they should be here around Dec. 9th.
  23. I had no idea this was going on either. I'm really not a big autograph guy, but having the experience to meet these guys would have been neat.
  24. The last of the jerseys have been shipped out. They should be here Friday or Saturday. I'll let everyone know when they come in.
