  1. I'd like to see Plush bring the bat back and slap one over this drawn in infield
  2. Unreal. If someone would have bet me a million dollars that the brewers would get out of that inning after the wild pitch I would have gladly taken that bet.
  3. probably ought to just bring in ax and hope he can strike 2 guys out. Better chance than saito pitching out of this.
  4. Gaaah. The worst part about these west coast games is when you spit them up at the end after you've stayed up all night.
  5. Ax has needed a 2 run cushion lately. Grr. Getting a bad feeling here. Edit: Okay, guess we'll worry about that later.
  6. I am usually among the first to bash RR but this time I'm not too upset with the move. If he leaves Narvy in there and he walks the leadoff hitter, everyone is screaming "what the bleep did we go out and get K-Rod for, to sit in the bullpen and shine his shoes?" That was just a crap inning by K-Rod, no more and no less.
  7. Not the cleanest of innings but I think it was big for Ax to come out and close this one out successfully. A couple of bad outings to start the 2nd half and that shadow of K-Rod would start to get awfully long.
  8. Think Giambi's got enough residual vitamin R coursing through his veins to tie this one up? Hope not.
  9. Please, Ax, don't get butterflies now. I'm scared of a shaky outing or two in the wake of the K-Rod deal, but when it comes to Brewers pitching, I love to be wrong.
  10. Well that went pretty smoothly - relatively speaking. Nice appearance by KRod. That would have gone down even smoother if it happened an inning earlier.
  11. dang... would have at least been nice to get this lineup turned over for the 9th
  12. well on the plus side, that 1 run that Kotsay could (or should) have knocked in by hitting the ball out of the infield is pretty much a moot point now.
  13. sometimes it looks so easy. Of course, never when the brewers are batting.
