    What is it about Gonzalez that suggests he'll keep it any closer than Davis? Nothing actually, but with Davis I feel there is no chance of him keeping it close the way he's going.

    Clancy I understand that "sharpie" is your favorite player probably, and I have nothing against him, just saying that if he keeps this up, its not a predictor for future success. To say DD has it completely turned around is false right now imo. He needs to get ahead of hitters on a consistent basis for him to succeed.

    Today he hasn't, but there's been baserunners all day long it seems, and his previous outings this yr of falling behind every hitter hasn't really helped that ERA sparkle.

    Jenks was right on that pitch. However, Brady Clark is just not a starter on a playoff team. Hes a good 4th OF, he had a great year last yr (fluke imo) and Corey is our best option in CF.
