Schroeder is making LoDuca sound like a Hall of Famer. Just because he doesn't strike out, it doesn't mean that he never gets out. He's still a .290 hitter.
nsimps, I was barely a teenager during the Bando, and actually played baseball with Bando's nephew, so I couldn't really drink. But hey, dreary day outside, Brewers down 8-0, Jared Fernandez, probably a good excuse to crack open a New Castle Ale.
Alright, I'll complete forget about the sweep in LA if they win today. It would be nice to win a road series on the west coast for a change. Coming into this 6 game trip, I expected 2-4 realistically. I felt they maybe had a chance at 3-3, but 2-4 isn't the worse they've ever done... Hopefully we can get back on track today, and then have confidence for our 9 game home stand.
Wow, JDLR throwing strikes is like going to a party and girls willingly flashing you. (OK, those aren't remotely close on the awesome scale, but you get my point.) (And no, I've never been to a party like that, but the thought is what keeps me going every day.)
I'd much rather have an offense that put up 5-6 runs most nights than one that can put up 12 on any given night and then get shutout the next by any given scrub. Sometimes you have to look past how many runs we are actually scoring and look at the efficiency of these runs. Obviously.
