  1. When we have nobody on and two out, we always seem to strikeout.
  2. Ahh Rick Helling... a lot more comfortable. Edit: I take that back.
  3. Do you pinch hit for Ohka? I do.
  4. His spiltter and his slider aren't breaking.
  5. Man, can Rick Helling start warming up? The Cards are really raking it off Ohka.
  6. First pitch fastball??? Why???
  7. welcome to the board my friend.
  8. alright, no runs again... but im worried that this cant last.
  9. I love Bill Hall, he's best when he goes to right field... plus Rickie Weeks needs to stop striking out.
  10. Ryan Zimmerman homers to tie it in the 9th for the Nationals. He's gonna be REALLY good.
  11. Man, what an awesome performance by Ohka tonight. 7 innings, 1 earned run.. very impressive.
  12. Phew, those last 3 batters hit the ball very well. If we get to Ohka's spot this inning, we have to pinch hit.
  13. I don't like that broom sighting so early...
  14. Yes! That's what you get Jack Wilson for making all of those awesome plays.
  15. Man, that JJ Hardy kid can't hit... only .187 in the first half last year, he stinks.
  16. Something interesting to note Brett, according to Elias, the only person to throw a no-hitter and lose was Ken Johnson in 1964 against Cincy. Andy Hawkins also did it, losing 4-0 for the Yankees against Chicago. However, he only pitched 8 innings, since the bottom of the ninth wasn't needed for Chicago. According to Elias, a no-hitter is counted only if it is a complete game, that is at least 9 innings. So, Andy Hawkins technically doesn't count in the record books.
  17. Man, that was great hitting there by Randa.
  18. The no-hitter is gone because it was mentioned.
  19. David Bell hits a two-run homer, ties the game 3-3 with the Cards.
  20. Ugh, that inning didn't really make Duke's pitch count go up like I wanted to...
