Wow, it's awfully quiet in Arizona http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/wink.gif

I think the feed is gettting a little bit better. But still lousy.
  3. AJAY
    This audio feed is brutal.

My online broadcast is also stopping a lot. It's getting annoying. The Brewers relief pitching is getting annoying too.

Rockies announcers just mentioned that Bottalico has walked 5 of the 10 hitters he has faced this spring. Ouch. EDIT: He just walked in a run http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/mad.gif

What a weird day. Wes Helms hits two bombs, Carlos Lee goes to the hospital, and five people are killed in those shootings in Brookfield. And yeah, I am listening to the Rockies announcers too. Weird.

Jim Powell says Lee is at the hopital for precautionary X-rays

    Helms again ? WOW.

Helms hits a three-run jack, but I am still upset about Carlos Lee getting drilled.

Doesn't Santos stink during day games? It's gonna be a long spring for him. Nothing but day games. http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/wink.gif

I completely agreed with Ned's decision to leave Hendrickson in to face Pujols. The outcome of these games mean nothing to the Brewers. The learning experience is much more important for a young pitcher and a team looking to the future. Hendrickson needs to learn how to pitch to tough pitchers in tough situations. I thought Hendrickson did very well against a tough lineup. He seems to be making progress.

Leadoff triple, nobody scores. I wonder if Mark Attanasio has even seen this team play. He still has time to back out of this deal. By the way, just release Chad Moeller NOW and start cleaning house.

Another tough loss. We had a million chances again. But at least we are closer to a better draft pick and the Giants are still leading the Cubs. So I can't complain too much.
  16. AJAY
    Did they announce the attendance?

I think you save Branyan for when you need a bomb. Right now you just need a single. Magruder can switch hit too if they change the pitcher.
  18. AJAY
What a momentum changer. That throw really changes the whole inning.

Correct decision to walk Bonds there. Even the Giants announcers are respecting the fact that Yost is putting his best pitchers out there to protect the integrity of the playoff race. They also agree with the walk of Bonds.
  20. AJAY
Maybe walking Bonds wasn't such a good idea. http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/wink.gif

Nice to see some two-out hits. 2-0 Brewers
  22. AJAY
Pedro Gomez of ESPN just reported that the Brewers might sell as many as 40,000 tickets just because some people will want the ticket stub.. I think they are expecting about 30,000 to actually be there.
  23. AJAY
Any idea what the attendance will be?
  24. AJAY
Nice win. It's about time they scored some runs for Sheets. Branyan has been fun to watch lately.

Fun game today. I wonder if we will see one of the Reds position players come in and pitch.
