If you also count the baserunning mistakes in the first inning, that is a lot of wasted scoring possiblities so far. I guess the bright side is that the Brewers are at least showing life against Kerry Wood. http://www.brewerfan.net/images/other/ajay.jpg
I don't care if the Brewers have to overpay, they better acquire some premium veteran starting pitching this offseason. Bartolo Colon, Kevin MIllwood, etc. Spend whatever it takes. They owe the fans big time. It's long overdue.
I don't know if anyone has posted this yet, but there is a nice article about Ricky Weeks on the Baseball America website. As expected, he won their College Player of the Year award. This just gets me more excited. www.baseballamerica.com/t...ksPOY.html http://www.brewerfan.net/images/other/ajay.jpg
On the radio today, they were saying that the Brewers are 27-30 on days that Glendon does not pitch. I will bet that our record would be even better that. Glendon really burns out our bullpen because he gets shelled so early in the game. I have no doubt that some of the other losses can be blamed on our relievers being overworked thanks to Glendon. For example, Glendon's outing tonight will cost us against the Cardinals tomorrow and against the Twins this weekend because the bullpen arms will not be as fresh. We could probably be over .500 if not for Glendon. Get him outta here. http://www.brewerfan.net/images/other/ajay.jpg
Very sad news . . The Baltimore Sun is confirming that the Orioles have reached an agreement with Loewen. www.baltimoresun.com/spor...Dheadlines http://www.brewerfan.net/images/other/ajay.jpg
