Doesn't the MLBPA put pressure on free agents to take the largest offer available? I thought this was part of the decision that CC made. Seems like he used this excuse to get out of milwaukee.

I have not seen this posted or talked about yet....Bush to the phils? http://sports.yahoo.com/m...cyRc5nYcB?urn=mlb-258412

ESPN didn't offer Gammons arbitration? Can he pitch? This seems like the type of free agent that Dougie Likes to sign. I bet he'll get an offer from the brewers for around 3yrs 21mil.

Melvin admits to asking the tigers about Edwin in the JSonline today.... http://www.jsonline.com/blogs/sports/69988612.html

You could say that about anybody. We could re-sign Prince to whatever huge boras-laiden contract and then the first at bat of his new contract he gets cancer and ends up out of baseball. I agree it is a lot of money for a small-market franchise to spend, but nothing risked is nothing gained.

I know that the big boys are going to bid on this cuban prize but if Melvin is talking with the agent for lackey why not this guy. Younger, cheaper, and is a lefty that throws 100mph. http://sports.yahoo.com/mlb/news;_ylt=At4HmX3uO8E.HVSIDzR3Trc5nYcB?slug=jp-chapman111209&prov=yhoo&type=lgns

I'm Listening to the Giants Broadcasters and they brought up the hit Prince put on Greene and they we saying that Prince went out of his way to hit Greene and called it a dirty play. They showed the hit from a couple different angles and I cannot see how anybody could call that a dirty play.

I vote yes Not only on his great stats but he has one of the best Berman nickname's of all time Bert "Be Home" Blyleven
