    Geno Johnson is right! Problem is there is no alternative, so they feel free to feed you chicken-you-know-what and call it chicken salad, because what alternative do you have? Fox has that nightly roundup show (I forget what it's called) and Best Damn Sports Show, and that's about all. Other than your local news (ugh) you got the 4 letter. I usually get my baseball news from MLB Radio (http://mlb.mlb.com/mlb/radio/mlb_radio_index.jsp). Where all of the shows are email/call driven and they have no problem talking about any team.

    A good place to go if you can get tickets that has great airflow is the field bleachers, right underneath the Beerpen area(right above the Mercedes Benz picnic area). Not many rows, in the shade, bathroom right there and a concession stand right there. You are always in the shade, but get the breeze from the panels. Now some of these can be somewhat obstructed (a pole or two), but they have tv monitors in this entire section to see if by chance you have a bad view.. Cushon and Nelson do their show off of this area, but they are way off to the side Again. these may be hard to get sometimes, so grab em while you can. I like them a lot. I agree it can get sweltering in there at times.. I try to avoid Terrace reserved at all costs (the warm, humid air just pools up there and the glass doesnt help). Terrace box are better and only a few bucks more (because their near tunnels = more airflow)

    Proxy server sites are your friends. Make sure it's a different country than the one your in (and that it actually works) and that the lag isint bad.

    I'm doing my part, although my wife staunchly refuses to vote any Brewer for the All Star, given the way our players have been faring in the second half of the season following the HR derby, etc..

    I don't know what the hell Zambrano was thinking about doing, if he would have swung that at someone, that's all she wrote for him. He seriously needs his head checked. BTW, what are the Cubs going to let him throw 190 pitches? Geez

    I don't think anyone was saying it's a lock for the team to MAKE the playoffs, just a "what if" type thing.. How the process works, etc.. That said, I think I am eligible for some (being a full/partial ST holder for 18 years)..But I haven't gotten anything regarding pricing, etc (which I don't think is set in advance anyway).

    Ahh I see, it's LUCK that the Brewers lead the division.. Hmm gee, I guess drawing a downtrodden Mariners team, getting SD without facing Peavy and moving on to Texas (where by the way, those LUCKY Brewers landed with a thud) makes the Chubbs schedule more "difficult"..Puh-leeze.. Every team draws the tough matchups and the seemingly "easier" ones, it all evens out, but to imply that somehow it's an automatic cakewalk for the Brewers from here on, is just ignorant. However they did run into a buzzsaw (called the months of May and June) and the lovable losers (and the rest of the division) were gracious enough to keep us propped up..Gracias Chubbies!

    Wow, I didn't even notice any showboating, from all of the discussion you'd think he took a long Bonds-ian stare at the thing flying out, but what Braun did was nothing.. Kruk, by the way, is an idiot. I guess bailing out on a RJ inside pitch and making youself look like a dope in the process is "proper baseball etiquette".. Pul-leeze..

    Wow.. I went away for awhile and it looks like all hell broke loose around here.. But I have to agree, nothing worse than seeing what passes for discussion look something like: "NED YOST ---KIN SUCKS, THEY SHOULD FIRE HIS DUMB ASS" Oh really? How nice for you, and thank you for that... It adds nothing, it says nothing, it is invective for it's own sake.. And Brian has the right to do whatever he wants, you as a user have no RIGHT to be here, this isint the Smithsonian, you as a citizen of the USA aren't permitted by law to be a member or post here.
