    I agree, when this team was a doormat it was easy to dismiss stuff like this, but not anymore. When Pujols puts his huge noggin down and runs the bases, then they can preach from the mount.

    Which is fine, I love the New Glarus 4 packs of the really good stuff they make..

    I agree, although I don't really care.. I drink Chill when it's really hot out, but my drink of choice is Rum & Coke.. I'll drink Sprecher products too.. I believe in buying local anyway, no matter what the product.. I buy my dogs/brats/steaks from a local butcher, I buy Usingers if I don't. I dunno, ever little bit helps..

    You do have to wonder, however how long they can maintain Wrigley as it is and have it still remain safe. I know there's a lot of kidding about the concrete falling, etc but face it, structures deteriorate and pretty soon it's going to get someone hurt. I have no sentimentality for Wrigley, the field is crowned, the seats are terrible, the sightlines stink, it's concourses are a joke for the amount of people, the bathrooms are hideous, dont get me started on the unpadded outfield wall and that stupid net/fence thing below the bleachers that make a stadium that already a bandbox even more of a joke.

    Such good advice.. I stayed along the Embarcadero as well.. And yes the rooms are small, but in that city you won't be there too much anyway and the BART is the way to go.. Sigh.. I wish I could afford to travel again..

    Curious, anyone know what his WS share was? My son had a pic taken with him when he was like 7 or 8 at the Fan Fest when it was at Brookfield Square. Then we went to a signing at the Fan Zone at MP and he signed it.. Good memories.. Where does the time go? Sunrise, Sunset.. When did he come up again? '93? '95? He should get full pension should he retire, which I don't think he will.. Maybe Telly whats his name's replacement?
