  1. that is a good idea, it is about time to show our collections again.
  2. i've seen a guy yell $5 for bobbleheads, and he normally uses trash bags and I saw him take away 2 full bags of bobbles before. But that isn't the point, the point is there is a guy that is obviously buying bobbles and no one cares, but when Matt does, he gets in trouble.
  3. ya I put one in for 20fry because I couldn't even find my inbox, I am still really confused about this yuku thing. They didn't happen before, and I doubt they will happen now that we are "starting" to get the hang of this.
  4. oh, I stayed until the end, he was probably gone by then, well then how can Matt get in trouble when this guy is yelling at the top of his lungs for a bobble and walks away with bags full of them, I don't understand it.
  5. There is nothing wrong or unlawful of getting extra bobbles. The ushers let and know that you do it, I normally get 2-3 extras and trade them for bobbles from other teams. I just traded a Prince and Capuano for a Mets Wright and Reyes, there is nothing shady or even illegal about that. No where does it state that you aren't allowed to go through the line more than once. I always take a bag and the ushers sometime ask how many I'm getting, or make some sort of comment, but they aren't being rude about it, and they have always let me do that, it isn't illegal? Matt, seriously I would go to the Brewers offices and explain your case, first off--you were treated wrongly and you are right, and you were trying to be the good guy. Second--what do you have to lose, you might get some more bobbles, or tickets, or autographs, explain that you weren't trying to make a profit, you were just collecting. This is the most ridiculous story I've heard all year, it sucks that had to happen to you, I bought mine a pinstripe off of a cubs fan. Plus there is always that guy outside of Miller Park by home plate that yells give you $5 for your bobblehead and he walks away with 2 trash bag fulls everyday. Although, he wasn't there on Sunday, I wonder if that was a coincidence or not? I would take this story to the Brewers though, no doubt.
  6. well prince said after the win on saturday that he wished that thr fans would stop booing because it is poor.
  7. forget all the percentages, it is not that difficult to get one. I don't understand why you are so upset about it? plus, just because kcbrewerfan has the whole set doesn't mean that he got it all at the game? I remember him making posts looking for blues.
  8. well that is a bunch of crap, I buy them off people all the time. Sorry that happened to you, it just seems wrong.
  9. laserbomb, that is a little harsh, i have all the blue ones and pinstripe ones, it isn't that hard, and even if I don't get them at the gate, I get them from other people at the park. It really isn't that hard. The last part of that post is pretty bush league.
  10. i was in the prince line and barley got him, got there at 530, absolutly ridiculous, I am never going for Fielder's autograph again, and if things continue to get that bad, they will have to stop autograph friday's, bandwagoner's ruin it for everyone.
  11. I understand that it is a long season, and I get that there are over 50 games left. But after being bored, I decided to go on youtube. How can we let the Cubs into this thing. I know that there are some good and knowledgable cubs fans, like over at NSBB, but how can we let these idiots into playoff baseball. They will probably make fun of this thread over there. But handing this lead over to them has really ticked me off. Their fans tried to attack Howry after he blew a save, they throw trash and garbage onto the field weather they hit a homer, or a call is bad. Alot of them are more interested in beer than they are in .OPS, I just shake my head in dissapointment and am glad that I am a Brewers fan. Every team has their fair share of drunks and idiots, but not many teams have fans that are proud of it. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TCKfdebkQcw If you read some of the comments, it just makes me even more mad. Come on Prince, and Billy, Yovani anchor that rotation, Ryan, crush the ball, we need to beat these losers. We can't let them have it, it is a shame that people with that low of behavior and intelligence might get to cheer for a division winner, and if they win, imagine all the crap at Miller Park next year. If you are a Cubs fan reading this, than most likely you are not one of the idiots that ruins this game, the people over there at NSBB are "real fans" I just don't want to hear it from all the losers, go Brewers, get it done.
  12. Sorry for having to post this, but I sent you a message regarding us meeting tonight. I can't figure out this yuku stuff very well, anyway I won't be back at a computer until about noon, and am leaving at about 2:30, so if you get this please send me a pm with your cell#, I sent you mine. Thanks, Brian
  13. ya, that is a little bit of a stretch, I am not an Estrada fan, but we don't even know the whole story.
  14. packers is football, brewers are baseball, I don't think it is similar at all. You could say that about any coach or manager, using that example, any coach that was once liked but then fired fits that scenario
  15. do we then have to throw our bobbles and beer cups on the field?
  16. if some player actually said that, than this isn't a good thing, this is bad.
  17. no, but it is forever, it has a base of homeplate, and no pose.
  18. i think the division belongs to Chicago, it seems that everything they do works. I know they won't play .700 baseball the rest of the season, but I still think that they take the division. I really thought that Lilly and Marquis would be horrible this year, and they have pitched as good as anyone this year.
  19. i don't think Estrada is going anywhere, when ever they acquired him Melvin said the reason why he was so attractive is because he was under Brewers control for 2 years. Now that was before we all realized he doesn't hustle, can't take a pitch and can't throw out Gilbert Brown. Yost on the other hand might be on the clock.
  20. Im watching the local news tonight, hoping they show some of it in sports since I was listening to the radio at work. That couldn't have been fun. It didn't look physical, just people yelling SNY caught it, so I am sure it will be on ESPN in some form.
  21. I think it is a good think, it's not like they beat on eachother, and it shows that they are upset. Hopefully, it lights a fire and they get on the winning track, or it could get ugly and some jobs will be lost. But the sentinel really didn't add anything more than the obvious in that article.
  22. that doesn't mean that he hasn't pitched well, so since Vargas has one of the best records on the team he should stay in the rotation? Vargas gets a lot of run support, Capuano doesn't.
  23. if it were me I wouldn't get any of your bobbleheads signed, I used to get some signed but I stopped doing that because it is so hard to display the bobbles. For example, Overbay signed on the helmet while Turnbow signed on the base. That makes it really hard to display, and then Miller signs on top of his helmet, so unless you are above the bobble, you can't see it. I like to get autographs on 8x10's balls, cards, something other than bobbles. But that is just my opinion. If you are set on getting bobbles, I would get the Huntsville one.
  24. 20fry, did you get my message about meeting up tomorrow, I sent you a message, but I can't figure out this yuku stuff. Sorry to get off topic BrewCrew. i miss the old forumhttp://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/frown.gif
  25. it was really sad last night, my Friend and I waited after the game for autographs and stayed later than anyone else, at about 11 or a little after, a mercedez rolled up and we were wondering who it was, a couple minutes later he got out of his car, the cart pulled up and gave him all of his stuff, he shook the attendants hand, and then some other workers came and he said good bye. It was really sad, we both shouted good luck Rickie, and he said all right and waved. I hope he comes back soon.
