  1. why does yost think that the double steal works, it only works in high school, it should be banned from the game, that was horrible.
  2. didn't want to see Inman go. But I heard that Linebrink is a type A free agent, so they will get compensation.

  4. that was gone, I guess God wants Milwaukee to win...
  5. splitter, you make a great point and it is too bad that people have to be jerks to everyone else, and I don't know what has been said behind the scenes to you about this post or anyone else, but this is a serious issue, it seems like every thread is worried about a troll, idiot, not a true baseball fan, or not a good stat, and it is a shame that this thread isn't being taken more seriously. but I guess for all I know it is just not viewable to the public.
  6. well Villy is due for a good outing, just hang onto the lead boys... Come on redbirds, get 'em in...
  7. that was a nice play by Jr., but at least we got one across like BCin2004 said.
  8. to be in the minority and to be verbally abused, I'm not surprised at all, who has that picture of him flexing with his shirt off? He seems way too ripped for his size, but what do I know? Also, is that the first Brewers player to ever test positive?
  9. I was at the Beloit Snappers game today against the Great Lakes Loons, it was one of the best games that I have ever seen live. Clayton Kershaw was touching 98 MPH but only went 4 innings, anyway, it was tied at the end of 9 innings so they went into extras, in either the 11th or 12th Lance Parrish (manager for Loons) made a pitching change, but instead of bringing in a reliever he brought in the rightfielder. My question is, does that take away the DH? Because the rightfielder/pitcher did come to bat and I honestly can't remember if a DH came to the plate? Does anyone know this question? It was tied all the way until the top of the 13th and then the Loons hit 4 home runs and scored 5, but then in the bottom half the Snappers scraped out 6 runs and won it, awesome game. Thanks for the help.
  10. you know, I'm not saying that Ned didn't screw up, but why is no one blaming Estrada for having a horrible AB, and then walking to first, if I want to criticize anyone, I would say that Ned should have been yelling at Estrada and replaced him with Miller, that was a horrible effort and something that should never happen in the MLB. Say what you want about Balfour or any other pitcher, but when the Reds give you the bases loaded and then you hit one slow and then walk to first, there is something wrong with that, IMO. And remember, there aren't a whole lot of off days coming up...
  11. apparantly I can't read...http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/wink.gif edit--or type
  12. looks like Hall will be signing for half an hour at sentry, I work until 11 in Watertown that day, so I can't make it, but i would suggest getting there early since it is only for half an hour. linkage: milwaukee.brewers.mlb.com/mil/fan_forum/autograph_schedule.jsp
  13. i haven't been watching lately though, I should start like another 2 week period and average them.
  14. i was #1 in linehttp://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/wink.gif
  15. oh man, that is my size and I just bought myself a new hat for $34, wish you would have posted this sooner.
  16. he tested positive for steroids, he cheated, be fair!
  17. are you going to boo Turnbow and make signs of him too? just curious.
  18. well I think I or someone else just need to start a thread that says something to the effect of "Member Feedback or Trade Feedback" and then it needs pinned, and there we go!
  19. i don't like the wave in general, but if the game isn't close, say the Brewers are up 8-1 in the 7th, I think the wave is fine. That being said, it is only ok, if they get the slow and fast one, but if it is a close game, no matter where in the game it is, it should not happen, everyone shold be watching the game, IMO.
  20. for all of you "cheap" fans like me who sit in the Terrace, one of my favorite beermen is the "really cold beer here, lot's of ice on the beer, really cold." Anyway, he has kneepads on and carries the beer on his head. I wish all vendors were like this, whenever he sells anything he gets down on his knees and then takes the money and opens it down there out of people's way. There are so many beermen that I see just stand in the middle of the aisle or row, and are just rude. I wish more fans were like that, I always get what I need to eat before the game, and when I have to go to the bathroom I leave in between innings. And about the jersey thing. What has already been mentioned. When my dad and I go on ballpark trips and see other teams play, I always wear Brewers stuff, shows who you are and where you are from.
  21. for anyone that is going, I will be wearing by retro Bill Hall jersey t-shirt, and my blue KC Royalshttp://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/wink.gif hat, say hello if you'de like.
