  1. 1. Tyler Thornburg - If he had a bigger body, most people would be ready to call this guy a potential ace. 2. Wily Peralta - For a long time has been one of my favs. Great stuff, and never backed it up with tremendous minor league results. His stats/production reminds me a bit of Juan Nicasio and I've compared Nicasio to Ubaldo Jiminez... can peralta be a poor man's ubaldo, probably not, but a strong #2/#3 type is not out of the question. 3. Orlando Arcia - His brother is absolutely one of my favorite prospects in all of baseball, if orlando can stick to SS and follow the path his brother has taken, we have a gem on our hands. 4. Khris Davis - Love the power potential in this guy. 5. Cody Scarpetta - As others have mentioned, the fastball/curveball combo is enticing. He might be another one of those guys that just clicks all of a sudden (could he do what Peacock has done this year?). 6. Taylor Green - Would be an immediate improvement at 3B for us right now. 7. Nick Bucci - Like others have said, hopefully he delivers for the organization 8. Drew Gagnon - One of my favorite draft picks this spring, impressed in first outing... 9. Nick Ramirez - Like his power potential 10. Kyle Heckathorn - honestly dont' have a good gut feeling about him HM's: Yadiel Rivera, Ruben Ozuna, Caleb Gindl, Eric Komatsu, Mark Rogers, Santo Manzanillo and D'Vontrey Richardson Deeper sleepers: Renaldo Jenkins and Jalen Harris. Also, If they had signed, I'd have Jed Bradley #1 and Jorge Lopez #2... Jungman would come in after Arcia. Michael Reed might fight for a spot at the tail end of the top 10, probably would still miss though.
  2. Assuming the balls are sweet spotted in blue ink... Yo: $30-40 Braun: $40-50 Prince picture: ? Matthews: what kind of shirt? Professional frame? Aaron: ? I'd love to see a picture of it though. I've included pictures of the Prince Fielder and Matthews pieces. My great uncle is the one who owns the Aaron poster. His enitre basement is filled with memorabilia from milwaukee greats (Spahn, Matthews and Aaron). He used to go on cruises with many of the players back in the day and became good friends with them and their families. He's actually the one that gave me the matthews shirt. The one piece that I always remember of his is his poster, it is just awesome, I asked out of pure curiosity on that one, but if I get a chance to take a picture someday, I will share. I'm not great at inserting pictures, so I appologize for size. Thanks http://images.yuku.com/image/png/60415294897e492f5c1bfaadc076251ecd0527d_t.jpg http://images.yuku.com/image/png/7dd358a290068c1e79bb4c6b2bc43636af4342a_t.jpg http://images.yuku.com/image/png/445358099d1e8c84766946172919fe65fda5969_t.jpg http://images.yuku.com/image/png/d8935f76949283617111464e2d8ef4a6a04d59a_t.jpg
  3. Just curious what the following would approximately be worth: With COA's: Yovanni Signed Baseball Braun Signed Baseball Limited Edition Prince Signed and Framed Picture (running over tyler greene, one of 28) Without COA's but they are legit: Eddie Matthews signed t-shirt (framed) Hank Aaron Autographed Poster of record breaking homer (huge, approximately 5 ft x 3 ft) Any help is appreciated. Thanks.
  4. Does seemingly having a good relationship with Scott Boras help us in this situation. To me it definitely does.
  5. Can we please go after Jesus Flores. I've always been intrigued by his talent and I believe he would make a terrific pairing with lucroy. Not sure what it would take to get him. But he seems to be on the outs with Washington so it can't be too much.
  6. I would like to be included in this drawing of tickets. I know I do not have a ton of posts, but I thoroughly read almost all post topics and attempt not to include the one line statements that I am starting to see a lot of. However I have contributed in posts and the fan/poster accumulated top 20 minor league prospects annually so hopefully I can be included in this. I think I actually had a personal e-mail conversation with you last year or the previous year when you were upset with the team and not going to take your potential playoff tickets, haha. Thanks Pedro!
  7. I was at the game today. I was wondering if anyone else saw it, or if anyone knew what was going on but everyone that was sitting in the end section in the left field bleachers all got up and left after gagne gave up his 2nd hit in the innning.
  8. Does anyone know or know where I can find the Brewers 40 man roster as of opening day?
  9. Count me in for the Rickie Weeks autographed ball. Again lots of thanks to Pedro.
  10. Throw me into the drawing. And thanks Pedro for your generosity.
  11. Thank you Ned Yost for this beautiful line-up Hart Counsell Braun Hall Mench Graffinino Miller Weeks Gallardo
  12. In Baseball America's preview of the top 200 prospects for the upcoming draft they have Chad Robinson 153. However at the end of his profile they mention that the Brewers have signed up to a reported six-figure bonus here in late may. Is this the case? If so now we just need to get Lee Haydel! If this is being discussed elsewhere feel free to lock.
  13. Does anyone know of a place other than Baseball America where they have a newsletter or posting of what the top prospects in all of the minor leagues did the day before. I know attheplate.com was great for it, but they are going away for the season it looks like. If anyone knows of something, please post. Thanks!
  14. He had one down year last year, mostly because of wrist injury. However, when he came back from that injury late last year he was dominant with the bat again, and carried that on to his short stint in the AFL. As for his character, all last year, all i heard was raves about how he was determined to be a very good defensive catcher, and that he worked all offseason to do so. That may even be part of why he struggled with the bat early, as he was focused on his defense. I would absolutely love to see salty in milwaukee.
  15. I think I like the Horacio Ramirez for Matt Wise rumor in the article a lot more. Horacio was a damn good pitcher a few years ago, and he has to be atleast as good as Matt Wise is. Plus, then I no longer have to worry the Brewers are going to lose whenever I see Matt Wise on the mound.
  16. Rotoworld posts some possibilities of deals that could be seen at the meetings, they have the brewers as one of the possibilities for baldelli with us shipping them capellan, carlos villanueva and greg aquino. has anyone else heard this as a rumor or is it something that rotoworld just made up? Plenty of other brewer tidbits throughout the article as well. www.rotoworld.com/content/features/column.aspx?sport=MLB&columnid=2&articleid=27208 EDIT: To add info to subject. -PF
  17. Here is my attempt at a top 20 1. Ryan Braun 2. Yovanni Gallardo 3. Will Inman 4. Mark Rogers 5. Jeremy Jeffress 6. Cole Gillespie 7. Angel Salome 8. Lorenzo Cain 9. Charlie Fermaint 10. Zach Jackson 11. Tim Dillard 12. Dennis Sarfate 13. Hernan Iribarren 14. Manny Parra 15. Brent Brewer 16. Rolando Pascual 17. Omar Aquilar- this guy is going to impress this year 18. Steve Hammond 19. Alcides Escobar 20. R.J. Seidel- for some local flavor not named Vinny Rotino I also think Errecart could also make a huge push up the power 50 this year.
  18. 1. Ryan Zimmerman 2. Alex Gordon 3. Cameron Maybin 4. Jay Bruce 5. Justin Upton 6. Ryan Braun 7. Troy Tulowitzki 8. Andrew McCutcheon 9. Chris Volstad 10. Mike Pelfry Only looked at 1st rounders. Guys like Hochevar, Buchholz would have to be strongly considered as well. I still feel that Cameron Maybin is going to be the best to come out of this class.
  19. you should have something in your ezinbox or whatever from me.
  20. I hope that Nick Neugebauer Jersey still goes to first place of the league, I was really trying to win that thing all year, he is still my favorite prospect of all time. Let me know who I need to get ahold of for shipping purposes.
  21. Iron Chef Napalm, I am infact a member of Brewerfan.net, however I usually don't post much. I have signed up for the 3rd base league. Sorry for any confusion. Thanks for letting me sign up, it should be very fun.
