  1. LOL at Klements!!! Awesome!
  2. Ned Yost hit a big homer for the Breers. He knows how to handle lineups and relievers. He is a great player manager. Besides abusing pitchers, Ned is Dusty Baker. Sad but true. Why else not play your best players at all times. You know why? Yost is a players manager. Everyone must get their hacks. Everyone must stay fresh for some irrational reason even though these are conditioned athletes.
  3. Cubs are gonna win. For those who care. I don't. I wish the Breers would just play better. This division was ours. yep.
  4. Who exactly said Braun had a "wrist" today? Plus he had a day off. These lineups are just dumb!
  5. The tailspin has begun! Braun with a day off after a day off and he's so young and hungry. you know what? whatever!
  6. Breers! They don't deserve the W. A joke ass team. Verlander did this, Verlander did that! You know what? This team is THE joke of baseball now. Great. Rock bottom? It better be.
  7. I don't travel either route extensively so I will still say Illinois. I agree that ND was no fun. There just seemed to be more going on. I saw elk, deer, foxes...etc.
  8. I kind of took to mean the agent was on Tony's side also. The way the other agent looked at him made me wonder.
  9. I drove through ND on the way to Montana. At least there was wildlife on the side of the road.
  10. My problem with this question is I see a lot of people calling YoGa a number 2. I don't pretend to know all but taking Rogers over Bailey seemed silly. Then, we get Gallardo in the 2nd. Off point I know. But, Sheets is easily better than Yo and the cries for Yo make me worry. I want to see Gallardo this season as a replacement for Vargas or Bush. I just want to see what he can do. I feel I've seen enough of him in the minors. This is spoken as a minor league novicehttp://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/smile.gif
  11. God bless you on the journey through Illinois. It's the worst, most boring ride in the country.
  12. If the Brewers take 2/3, my pee my pants schedule may be moved uphttp://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/smile.gif
  13. And to think I had beers with youhttp://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/smile.gif AND, I almost fought over a jukebox, that's not wussie, that's hardcore! I see how many people can think that the pumpkins wrote "wussie" songs, but the fact is Billy wrote a lot of dark, hard songs. Some people hear "Today" and that's it. Kinda sad really because the catalog is there to be had.
  14. CRUSH! DECLAW! TRAMPLE! I hated when I saw this on the schedule and I hate even more now. I will be grateful for one win. Soup and Verlander? This could be over in the 2nd. Needless to say, Go Crew! edit...yes it should have been declaw.
  15. That's what I said earlier, the agent was Tony in some respects. He even had a goomah. When he said, "we're going to win this thing", what did he mean? That's been irritating me. Also, a lot of people have been saying that the cat was a reincarnated Ade. I kinda thought the cat represented death. Looking at Christopher all the time and Paulie being uneasy with his new job.
  16. I actually would have preferred "Anyway You Want It." It's what Chase did in the finalehttp://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/smile.gif
  17. I moshed in that pit!http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/smile.gif The Anthrax moshers were the worst. There is decorum in a pit believe it or not. Those guys just wanted to hurt each other.
  18. Oh man, I have to get tickets. QOTSA is the bigger draw for me but I like RATM. Thanks for the info. By the way the new Queens album (Era Vulgaris)drops tomorrow.
  19. Where was O'Kays? LFR turned out to be Soul Asylum, right?
  20. Since SP is my favorite band of all time I am biasedhttp://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/smile.gif I really love Soundgarden though. "Jesus Christ Pose" and "Fresh Tendrils" are two of my all time favorite songs. Badmotofinger and Superunknown are two great, great albums. To me, Gish is a masterpiece and I can't say Soundgarden has that (fine people disagree though.) I really think the Pumpkins established themselves as the anti-grunge and that's what I loved. I got so sick of the Seattle bands very fast. Nirvana and Alice and Chains not included. The Pumpkins were fresh with lots of rockers and lots of sweet songs. Plus, their sound was just magnificent as "Hummer" and "Soma" can attest. I pick the Pumpkins but know that Soundgarden is badass.
  21. After ruminating and hearing one thousand different theories, I think life just went on. Nothing was ever so simple in this show and the finale fits the bill. Considering the show began when the Sopranos were living their lives (not a true beginning showing Tony grow up) it just ended with them living their lives. If it would have ended with the guy going into the bathroom for a gun ala "Godfather", that would have been lame. Also interesting, the boy scouts at the scene Bobby's death were there at the restaurant. I haven't been able to watch it again, but were there any other characters at the end that were connected to other killings? edit...sheesh toolivebrew, we were thinking alike.
  22. Robert, that part was hilarious. She was so into the "old" guy.
  23. I think that agent knew that info. Sleeping with his mistress maybe made it compel him to tell Tony( plus affinity). They weren't that different I guesshttp://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/smile.gif
  24. I got 8-10 right. BUT, the whole family may be dead, which would bring that to 7.
  25. Silent credits usually mean death. I think they all died. And if Chase makes a movie now I will be mad. Unless it's about Tony when he was growing up.
