  1. certainly not, those pitches weren't that far out of a huge strike zone, and the hits were close to being outs...Bush stays. Ned is so freakin loyal we're going to be Bushwhacked until September.
  2. Bush has compiled a whole body of evidence that has little to do with tonight. Bunts, seeing eyes, aliens, regardless he has trouble doing that most important part of any pitchers job...getting hitters out. Luck, poor luck, no luck, whatever, time for a change. Yo, sure. Villy, sure stretch him out...I don't care, the time has come.
  3. Just how many starts does Bush get before we pull the plug? I realize he had a decent end to 06' but at what point does that run out? Is Yost watching last August's game film of him when he breaks film down?
  4. Jenkins and Estrada are having a dual contest... a) See who can swing at the most first pitches, over head, in dirt, pitch out, pick off--no matter, these guys are taking this bet seriously. On the line--Jalisco's a burrit suizo. b) See who can knock 100 points off their average in the last month, Ridiculous.
  5. Sorry if this has been asked previously. I know only a little about his repetorie. His moxxy seems to be off the charts, and he refuses to beat himself it would seem. Who is he most similar to in MLB? Does his fastball have great movement? (It isn't that out of this world fast by most accounts) Does he throw a sinker? Slider/curve or both? Most importantly in this day in age, does he have a change up? Or is he a two pitch pitcher ala Ben Sheets? What can we expect in five years? Thanks
  6. Can someone update us on the "top" guy the crew signed out of Latin America last year? He was the young guy with huge projectables...I can't remember his name. Thanks
  7. not that it mattered, but can someone tell me why Weeks was playing 2 inches from second base with the left handed Dobbs at 1st base? Reverse Bonds shift?
  8. What a great chance to get him going!
  9. no, its become increasingly obvious that we need as Ned said, to get Graffy his at bats. I mean if he 1000 minor league at bats he might hit what Braun would hit in 400. Its gotta be the defense, which one had a throwing error today? Oh yah, Graffy.
  10. Here in lies the difference between these two clubs. One can manufacture runs, move runners, make contact at key times, put the ball in play, and can close out a team with solid defense and timely hitting. Can the crew become that type of squad implementing smart, professional baseball with their obvious physical gifts? Time shall tell.
  11. when does he make his season debut? I have looked through the LR's and haven't seen his first outing... What's up? Thanks Edit: Subject clarity...
  12. can anyone provide a scouting report of Yo's outing at the Futures game? How did his stuff look? Comparison? etc... thanks
  13. Where/when was Jones' toughness called into question by Melvin? Do you have a link? THanks
  14. Did anyone happen to hear the interview with Jim Callis of BA on 107.5 FM on Tues or Wed morning? I forget which one, he's usually very good. The gentleman on that show appear to be pretty in tune with the Crew, so it might have been a good listen. Thanks
