    I think we can put the hunger stuff to bed. This team came back from down 0-2 and 3-2 to KD and won 2 games without Giannis in the ECF. Usually the "will to win" isn't enough. Sometimes the other team is better. So when I go bowling this weekend, I can't just bowl a 300 game simply because I want to? If the pencil has an eraser...

    I think over each 12 minutes, the Suns are just better. Could the tide turn at Milwaukee. Sure. But I dont see a scheme deployed other than that first quarter that seems to work consistently enough to win a quarter, let alone a game. Bucks failed to shoot anything with a decent percentage. The Suns shoot too well to dig an 11-point hole. No game is over. The series isn't over. I'm just struggling to think of an answer besides, "hope we make more and they miss more".

    Agreed. Atleast not with the right assets. Everything feels like Holiday or PJ Tucker at the rim instead of Lopez, Giannis.

    This! Of PHX 8 (EIGHT!) made 3's in the first quarter, zero came with the defender in the hip pocket of the shooter. No, I don't like Paul making mid-range jumpers like they are candy, but even moreso I hate wide open 3s. BUT, if we win EVERY single quarter by 3 points and still give up 32 made 3s this game, then so be it. Will love the outcome and just close my eyes to the tv broadcast.

    They're not having a bad game, that's the problem. They're just not as good. ^This. I dont think the Bucks get swept, but it does feel like the classic, "one step forward, two steps back" kind of game. Defensively, I can live with the mid-range and paint shots. Offensively, they look incapable.

    You can tell effort from reading the box score? Which column is that? What I tried to articulate is that previous seasons, watching 3pt defense, is why I only now follow the box score. I saw the shimmy video on ESPN front page and my decision was reinforced. Maybe the NBA Finals, I could stomach it. I hope they can do it.
