    What a waste. What channel is the car race on? For once I would agree watching cars drive in circles is more exciting than baseball. This game stinks.

    With Spiezio, Belliard, and Taguchi in the starting lineup this looks more like the Memphis Redbirds. With that said, the Cards will probably win 8-2.

    The point could be made for the Brewers using that mindset even if Ben never had an injury in his career. There's a reason why they say you can never have enough pitching -- you just never know with injuries.

    I thought games at Coors were supposed to be high scoring, non stop back and forth action. Three years ago maybe. This year the Rockies have something like the 5th best team ERA in the NL.

    Doesn't the "Coors Effect" only make balls go something like 4% farther? Also, I remember last year the point being made that if anything, Coors is more than a doubles park than a HR park because of the insanely deep gaps.

    Wasn't aware of the Abreu OBP number...Abreu just popped into my mind since Powell mentioned the NYY trade earlier in the game.

    If someone has the freetime can you find me 2 other outfielders that make 5 million or more that have as many at bats as geoff that are hitting worse than 260. and have less than 10 homers. I would appreciate it!!!!!!!!!!! Bobby Abreu's making about $14 million and has 8 HR this year...at least Jenks isn't that overpaid. Not sure about BA, though. Others inclue J.D. Drew ($11.4 million, 10 HR), and Garrett Anderson ($10.75 million, 8 HR). Another blown opportunity...swing the bat, Brady!
