    Sheets is absolutely dealing today...what's he up to, 6 K's? Powell said that Sheets' K:BB ratio was 37:1 before the K to end the inning...now up to 38:1. Guess you don't count IBB in that ratio.

    Finally, I was glad to see Turnbow go out there and earn the save. Although was it just me, or did the homeplate umpire tighten his strikezone dramatically. It did seem like Turnbow was getting squeezed a bit, but he hasn't exactly done anything in the past month to show that he deserves getting calls on the black.

    Very good game for Billy Hall tonight. Good to see Turnbow is "back"...even on his walk, he seemed to be getting squeezed a bit, but at least he didn't collapse after the walk. Feels good to win for once, doesn't it?

    If Weeks misses the rest of the season because of a wrist injury sustained on a slide into second on a balk, we are truly cursed. Them's the breaks. You had to know that it wasn't our year when Sheets never seemed right when he was pitching in April and Ohka hit the shelf. As for the Bell rumor, he's suddenly been taken out of the lineup in Philly. Then again, it could have something to do with him being 0-3...you never know.
