According to some national sources, the Brewers are one of the biggest losers of the trade deadline, but that might just not be true. Sure, there wasn’t some big, flashy move, but they made smart upgrades without giving up key pieces. Between the early additions of Quinn Priester and Andrew Vaughn and the true deadline moves to add bullpen help and a backup catcher, the roster got better. People are calling them losers, but if you actually look at everything they did… that narrative might start to fall apart.
