Ugh, I think Braun was joking guys. Making it seem like he's some crazed narcissist. When he starts carrying around a mirror admiring himself then I'll be concerned.

The cap times had a different version of the same quote yesterday:

"That's exciting," said Braun, who cracked, "I'd prefer to be on it alone but I'll take it."

Of course he was joking. Some of you guys are serious tools about thinking Braun is "cocky".

There's nothing wrong imo even with him making that statement honestly. Who wouldn't want the cover to be just them?

I checked and there appears to be five. Unless you count the salary listing one with a bunch of small MLB player pictures on the cover including Surhoff, Felder, & Molitor. And who wouldn't, really.

Yeah, i'll never forget "Tiny" Mike Felder on the cover of SI.
