My ex-girlfriend had a cousin who was really into baseball, and like Jim Abbott, only had one hand. He got to meet Jim, and it was the greatest moment of his life.

The guy is a class act. I saw him pitch many times, as a Yankee and as a Brewer. It's impossible not to be in awe when you watched him play.

I always thought it took a lot of skill for him to seamlessly transfer his glove like that. I remember when he got a couple of hits in '99, it was pretty fun to watch.
