The Brewers can't lose tomorrow, unfortunately the Cubs can win tomorrow.

Atleast the Crew gets a day off, and so do we, and we can always hope the Cubs lose.

i would actually prefer to drop out of first place for a while....did anyone here actually expect to run the table and be in first place the whole season? we are talking about the brewers here, havent had a winning season since 92, remember ?

The last time the fans self loathing reached this level after the Verlander no hitter we went on a good winning stretch, I'm going under the assumption the same will happen again.

My other silver lining is that Zambrano hurt his foot today, doesn't seem serious but any little thing can mess him up so maybe this will.

We have a chance. Going to race the Cubs to the finish. We can hope that the baseball Gods are just cooking up their lastest way to torment the Northsiders.

The Brewers at should have won 4 more games than they did. They can't keep on blowing games in horrific fashion...can they?

The Cubs are playing the Phillies whom have been playing well as of late.

That's the Phillies, not the Cubs I mean. http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/wink.gif

I like to pretend that the Brewers were way under .500 earlier in the season and they mounted an amazing run to come from 4th place and take over 1st from the Cubs.

Losing is no fun.

You heard it here first, the Cubs collapse starts tonight. They lose 3 of 4 to the phillies, 2 of 3 to the mets and then suffer a losing record on their 7 game road trip.

A day of rest and watching the Cubs get beat on national TV by two former White Sox seems to be a pretty good prescription for short-term relief from a lot of ailments.

Somebody finally figured out how to hit Lilly's little girl curveball. Hopefully that continues through the rest of the season.

Regardless of how tonights game ends we played a very good game against what is most likely the best team in the NL, good to see.
