Man, looks like Prince just missed that. He could have used the confidence from that almost as much as we could have used the 3 runs.

Is it just me or has Prince had atleast 4 outs to the wall during his recent slump? It seems as if he still hitting the ball well but is just not finding any holes

Another good break. Cappy makes a mistake on an 0-2 pitch, but then Aram gets greedy and is thrown out going for the triple.

Yes Daron, that would (partly) be Dusty Baker's fault. If your player is walking to first base because he thinks he hit a HR, you admonish him so he doesn't do it again. Ramirez does that all the time and hasn't ever been called out on it, so can we stop the "It's not Dusty Baker's fault" show? Thanks.

so does anyone know what the crowd looks like tonight on the take back miller park debut?
The park is crowded, but still plenty of Scrub fans. Probably more Brewer fans this time though.

THANK YOU! If players slacking to first ISN'T the manager's fault, then what the heck is the manager there for? Just for setting the lineup and making strategy moves?

I LOVE Bill and Daron, but their enthusiasm for believing this along this line is annoying. They stick up for opposing players and managers WAY too much. It's disgusting.

Uh-oh. I don't care how hot Jenkins is, he just doesn't hit lefties.

What do you mean? He has a .399 OBP vs. lefties......Oh sorry...my bad...thats his OPS.

Posted
A .117 average versus lefties. WOW. I can't imagine that any regular position player in baseball has that big of a differential between hitting left and right-handed pitching. It's enormous. Against righties, he's a solid bat. Against lefties, he's a pitcher.

I've had about 9 beers during this game, and this comment got a combination hiccup-burp-laugh. It hurt.

Our bullpen should be thanking Cappy. A day after the entire pen had to be used, Cappy looks like he'll throw a CG shutout while throwing less than 100 pitches. (82 through 8)

Do we bring in Turnbow if it stays 2-0 or are we giving everyone a rest tonight? I say give Cappy the chance at a CG with T-bows struggles of late.

Nevermind, didn't know he was only at 82 pitches. Bring us home Cappy.

This is probably our most impressive pitching performance since Sheets' 18 K game against Atlanta. Impressive Cappy.

Cappy also had a CG, five hit shutout at Wrigley this year. He only threw 91 pitches that game. Tonights game is almost an exact replica of that game, except we scored 9 off Z in April.
